Ong Seongwoo - By Your Side

I held my gun up to my face. I glanced around as I walked out of my spot. I signalled my other members to come out. We were almost there when I heard a sound.

"Tsk, (Y/N), you're so slow! Even snails are faster than you." He looked at the  members and signalled them to go back. They looked at each other in confusion, but headed back to their HQ.

I just glared at Seongwoo. "Why did you call it off?! We were almost there!?" Seongwoo just smirked and put his gun away. "Because I already took care of it. If we're both going to be leaders of this mafia, you need to step it up a notch." He smiled and walked back to HQ, leaving me to yell out frustration.

"Why out of all people does my co-leader have to be Ong Seongwoo!?" I sighed and walked back to HQ along with everyone else.

The next day, I went to go to the member's roll call, only to see Seongwoo there. I just forced a smile and walked over. Seongwoo saw me and smirked. "Ohh (Y/N), you're a bit late. There are no late starts in the mafia."

I smirked back as I grabbed the list from his hand and continued the roll call. After that, I gave the list back to Seongwoo with an even bigger smirk. "I wasn't late, you were too early. And besides, I'm sorry if the HEAD of this gang wanted to talk to me about something very important. In fact, I should go right now and check. Bye"

I smiled to myself as I went to the Head's office. I knocked and heard a faint 'come in'. I walked in and bowed to the Head. "(Y/N), you're here. Sit down." I nodded and sat down as he continued.

"(Y/N), there's an important I need from the other side of town. Problem is that is heavily guarded, so I decided to send you and someone else down to get it for me." I nodded along to what he was saying

"So, who's going to be my partner? Jihoon? Daniel? Oh, is it Jisung?" The head shook his head and heard the door open. He smiled as he pointed behind me. ""There he is."

I turned around to see a smirking Seongwoo. I sighed as I agreed. I stood up to leave and heard Seongwoo following me. "I guess we both got called down to the head's office, huh?"

I felt my tears threatening to fall, but just held them in. Seongwoo noticed my prolonged quietness and walked in front of me to see me about to cry. His eyes widened as he looked away out of embarrassment.

"Why are you crying? People in the mafia don't cry." As I saw Seongwoo in front of me, my tears finally fell. I looked away as I tried to wipe them off. " It's nothing. Stupid allergies."

Seongwoo noticed and sighed. He grabbed my hand and opened it to put his handkerchief in it.  "Don't cry. People will get the wrong idea."
He gave me a small smile before leaving. He turned around one more time. "See you tomorrow for the assignment"

I watched him walk away as I completely dried my tears with his handkerchief. I felt my heart beat a bit faster but just forgot about it.

The next day, Seongwoo and I were in positions. We saw the item and looked at each other as a signal to go. As Seongwoo walked out to distract everyone, I slowly grabbed the item and gave Seongwoo a thumbs up. We both ran to our getaway car and drove off as fast as we could.

Once we saw the no one was trailing us, we both sighed in relief. There was an awkward silence for a few moments until I broke it by handing Seongwoo his handkerchief. "Thanks for the handkerchief yesterday. I normally don't cry that much."

Seongwoo nodded and put it in his pocket. "So, why were you crying yesterday?" I looked out the window and sighed "I guess I was frustrated that I couldn't be as good as you. You should be the leader, I'm just holding you down.

Seongwoo stopped he car at the side of the road and faced me. "Listen, you are the only person that I know that is qualified to be the leader. The real reasons on why I joined is so that I could impress you. Believe it or not, your opinion matters to me."

I smiled as I felt my face turn red. I looked back at Seongwoo, who was smiling brightly. "So what was the other reasons?" Seongwoo leaned in closer as his smile turned into a smirk.

"Well, one reason is so that I can make your heart flustered, the other reason is so that I can make you smile and the mags reason is.....

"So that I can be the only man by your side. So can I?"
