Ong Seongwoo - I Pray

It's was past midnight. I kept calling Sungwoo but it kept going to voicemail. I was stuck out in the rain in traffic and I kept calling Seongwoo to ask if he was okay. After I got back to the apartment I shared with Seongwoo , I saw the front door was unlocked.

There was a pair of heels on the floor. One that I didn't recognize. I walked into the living room to see it in a mess. I felt a weird feeling, but I shook it off. Once I made it to the bedroom, I saw Seongwoo sleeping in bed with another girl.

My eyes widened as the sight as j felt my blood boil. I went to the kitchen and grabbed a tub of water. Once I got back to the bedroom, I dumped the water on the two. The two jolted up as they looked at me. Seongwoo's eyes widened as he saw me.

"(Y/N)... I thought you were going to work  late and sleep at your friends house?" I smirked as I brushed some of the spilt water off my clothes. "Well when a certain someone didn't pick up the phone, I thought something happened. But I guess you were to busy cheating on me to notice."

I glanced over at the girl who was glaring at me. "Who are you to glare at me? Put your head down before I put it down for you.." the girl looked down in shock as I continued to look at Seongwoo.

"If you're going to cheat.. do it right at least. And by the way, could you two leave my apartment? I need to burn my sheets now..." I watched as the two gathered their clothes, put it on and made their way to the front door.

As they were leaving, I called for Seongwoo, who looked back with a bit of hope in his eyes. "We're over. I don't need someone like you in my life." I slammed the door in his face as I went to bed after a tiring day..

••••• 2 YEARS LATER•••••

I was working in my office, looking over papers when I got a call. It was my friend, Daniel. He was there after my break up with Seongwoo and we have been closer ever since.

"Hey (Y/N), wanna have lunch with me? I'm downstairs in the lobby." I hummed in response as I grabbed my things and made my way to the lobby.

I saw Daniel and made my way towards him. He smiled as we started walking to a nearby restaurant. On our way, I heard someone call my name. "(Y/N)... is that you?" I turned around to see Seongwoo with a girl I've never seen before. She wore revealing clothes and twirled her hair around her finger as she glanced over at Daniel.

"Seongwoo.. hey. It's been a while. I see you've met another girl..." before Seongwoo could say anything , the girl interrupted him. "FYI, my name is Jiwoo. It's a very good name. Better than (Y/N).." Seongwoo nervously laughed as he glared at Jiwoo.

Daniel and I laughed quietly as Seongwoo continued. "Umm do you think you could spare me five minutes to talk? It's important.." i glanced over at Daniel who nodded in agreement. "I'll get a table for us. Just meet me when you're done."

I nodded and watched as Jiwoo went with Daniel as I started from afar with Seongwoo. "Your girlfriend is really...uh friendly?" Seongwoo sighed as he looked at me. "She's nothing to me (Y/N).."

I looked at him in confusion as he continued. "I miss you and I want you so bad... these past two years have been hell, going on blind dates only having them end in disaster. You're the only one I need. Please, could you give me another chance?"

I sighed as I smiled softly at him. "I'm sorry Seongwoo, but I've moved on. I'm happier and you should word hard to find your own happiness. We were probably never meant to be. But hey.."

I rubbed his back as I saw him smile a bit. "You'll find someone better than me. It may take time, but you'll do it. I know you can."

Seongwoo nodded and I gave me a quick hug. "I Better head back to Daniel. I'll tell Jiwoo that you're done too."

As I walked away, I couldn't see tears coming down Seongwoo's face. "I prayed everyday to get you back... but it didn't work.."
