Another couple of weeks passed and our group of friends had began becoming closer.
The final bell rang and I started packing my bag. Yuuri came up to me with a big smile. "Hey (Y/N)! Wanna go to the cafe with me and Murao?" I nodded my head and finished packing.
I was about to leave when Daniel stepped in front of me. "I hope you didn't forget about the student council meeting. We need to discuss the class trip that's tomorrow.." I laughed nervously and sighed as I looked back at Yuuri and Murao. "I forgot about the council meeting. Maybe another time?" They nodded as I watched all of them walk away smiling as I trudged my feet to the council room.
An hour later, Daniel and I walked out of the room holding a piece of paper. "Why is camping such a good idea for a class bonding activity?" I looked over at Daniel who shrugged his shoulders. We made our way to our lockers and changed my shoes. I started walking home when I heard Daniel call me.
I turned around and saw him running towards me. "Let's walk home together.." My eyes widened as Daniel continued "We both walk the same way.. it would be easier.." I nodded and we both walked home.
After I reached my house, I looked at Daniel. "I'll come to your house tomorrow so we can head to the train station, okay?" Daniel nodded and started walking home. I smiled to myself as I walked in.
The next day, I went over to Daniels house and knocked on the door. It opened to show our home room teacher. I smiled at him as I already knew their secret of him being relayed to Daniel. He smiled back and let me in. "Euigeon should be in his room. Probably still asleep."
My eyes widened as I saw the time. "We're late!I thought he'd be ready at this time!" After 30 minutes of bickering, we finally got out of his house and started running to the train station.
Once we got there, I checked the schedule. "The next one comes in 20 minutes! Then others are probably already there!" Daniel took out his phone " I'll tell them to stall for us.." I nodded as I kept checking the schedule.
45 minutes later, we made it to the camp site. The teachers didn't notice and we made it to our groups quickly. We started doing activities until we took a short break for lunch. I was bringing back firewood until some fell of the stack.
As I was picking it up, I saw from the corner of my eye, a someone helping me. I looked up to see a boy smiling at me.

"Hey, I'm Ong Seongwoo from Class 4. You must be (Y/N), right?" I nodded as my eyes lit up. "I remember! You're the male class president for class 4. I saw you at the meeting yesterday."
He nodded and helped me put the firewood at my class's tent. He smiled at me once more before leaving to his class. I smiled before returning to my group.
The day was almost over and there was one more activity. The hike. We were halfway there and I was walking beside Yuuri. I was looking at Daniel when Yuuri tapped my shoulder. "Hey (Y/N). I have something to tell you..." I nodded with a smile as she continued
"I think I like Euigeon..but I didn't want to say anything because I think you like him too." At that moment, I felt my heart break, but I just put on a big smile. "I don't like him! Besides I think you two would make a sweet couple." Yuuri smiled widely as she thanked me. As I watched her go talk to Daniel, I just kept walking straight without looking where I was going.
Just as I felt tears coming, I tripped on a tree root and felt pain in my ankle. The others stopped and went to go help me. I just looked at them and smiled. "I'm fine guys! Just a little sprain. Let's keep walking." As I continued to walk , I saw Daniel kneeling in front of me. I looked at him confused until he spoke.
"Get on" I shook my head but before I could say anything, he grabbed bridal style and carried me as the hike continued. I looked down and things were very quiet for a while until Daniel whispered something to me.
"Don't smile if things aren't all right.. that makes you look more in pain. It's okay to cry... it'll help..". At those words, I silently cried in Daniel's arm as we reached the rest stop we would be sleeping at for the night.
After I bandaged my ankle with the help of a nurse at the rest stop, I got changed quickly and went to the rest stop's lobby. I noticed how empty it was and started taking out some student council papers. I stayed up until I finished writing the outline for the next day, but kept on erasing my work.
I checked the time and sighed. '4 am. I need to get this done fast.' As I continued writing, I felt my eyelid becoming heavier and heavier until I fell asleep.
[Daniel's POV]
I woke up to my roomates snoring. I felt thirsty and went to the vending machine to get something to drink. I walked into the lobby and saw (Y/N) sleeping on a table. I smiled to myself as I walked towards her.
I saw her work and sat down on the empty chair next to her. I glanced at her one more time and lied down on the table, using my arm as a support. I saw a strand of hair falling on her face and put it behind her ear. I saw (Y/N) shivering and I took of my hoodie and put it on her.
I took her pencil and finished writing the outline for her. Once I did, I looked over at the clock to check the time. 5 am. I looked outside and stood up, leaving (Y/N) to sleep.
[YOUR POV]
I woke up and checked the time on my phone. '5:30 am! Oh no, I didn't finish the outline!' I picked up the paper, only to find it finished. I felt something on me and saw someone's hoodie. I put it one and cleared my stuff away, putting it in my bag.
Just as I was about to go to my room, I saw someone on the balcony outside. Once I got closer, I realized it was Daniel. I smiled as I walked towards him, putting my hands on the railing. I looked in the direction he was staring at and saw the sunrise.
I smiled layed my head in my arms. "It's so beautiful... I wish the others could see it..." Daniel looked at me and smiled. "Yeah... maybe one day we'll all see it."
And we ended the last morning of our trip staring at the sunrise, with dreams in our minds and hearts. But what we didn't know was what would become of us later on....
