This is the story of my life... the story about Jinyoung and I..

We were both orphans, dropped in the middle of a forgotten spot in Seoul and brought to the same orphanage...

We bonded the minute we met eyes with each other and from that day forward, we were closer than close.
Until he suddenly changed...

"Yah Jinyoung-Ah! Where are you?? We have to go! I have work and you have practice!" I searched every corner of the orphanage when I saw Jinyoung with a cigarette pack on his hands, about to open it.

My eyes widen as I ran over and grab the pack out of his hands. "Are you crazy?! Why would you smoke? I thought you hated it?" Jinyoung just scoffed as he tried to take the pack out of my hand. But with my quick reflexes, I managed to through it over the fence.

I watched as Jinyoung started to walk to practice alone for the fifth time this week. I began to worry but put it aside as I raced to work. I ran into the convenience store where I worked and saw my co-worker, Daehwi, already there.

He smiled at me as I did the same. "Hey (Y/N)! You okay? You don't look so well?" I shook my head as I came out with my uniform. "It's Jinyoung.. I'm worried about him."

Daehwi nods as I looked down. I saw that my shoelaces were untied and bent down to tie it when I heard Daehwi's voice. "Yo, I'm going to head to the washroom. Watch the store for a bit." I replied and continued to tie my shoelaces when I heard someone come in.

I welcomed the customer as I went on to tie the second shoelace. The customer came up to the counter with his item as I familiar voice filled the room. "I'll just take this...".

I nodded and stood up only in shock to see a beaten up Jinyoung purchasing band aids. His eyes widened with mine as he saw my face. "Never mind.. I don't need this anymore..." I watched him leave the store as Daehwi came out from the back. "Go after him.."

I looked at him in confusion as he slightly nudged me. "I saw from the security monitor at the back. I'll cover your shift now go find Jinyoung." I smiled as I gave Daehwi a quick hug and grabbed a small first aid kit before running out of the store.

I ran for a while, thinking about where he would be when it hit me. 'The orphanage tree swing'. I ran as fast as I could to the orphanage and sighed in relief when I saw Jinyoung sitting on the swing, staring off into the distant.

I walked over to him and sat down next to him. He noticed my presence but before he could say anything , I cut him off and opened the first aid kit and started to treat his wounds. 

"Why have you been avoiding me? What have I don't to deserve this? All I've ever done is care for you and watch out for you and care for you and the way you treat me is hurting yourself and my feelings...". I felt tears run down my face as I finished treating his wounds.

I finally met eyes with Jinyoung for the first time in days only to see them brimmed with tears. He pulled me into a hug as he layed his head in the crook of my neck.

"I'm so sorry.. I have been so lonely and I wished I had a family like the other kids... I guess I forgot the most important thing in my life.. You.. you've always been there for me and I haven't even been able to thank you properly... I'm hoping this will help a bit.."

I looked at Jinyoung as he slowly leaned in, gently grabbing the back of my head for support as he leaned in for a small yet passionate kiss. After a while, we broke the kiss, our lips still lingering near each other. "I, Bae Jinyoung, care about (Y/N) more than anyone else in the world. Will you accept my feelings.."

I smiled, my face still stained with tears. "Took you long enough pabo...."
