It finally happened. Wanna One finally hit it's one year anniversary and fans all over the world were going crazy, including me.

Though everyone wishes that Wanna One can have a break on the anniversary, that couldn't happen in reality. Wanna One had a time constricting contract and they wanted to meet as many fans as possible, even if it meant they couldn't have a break on their own.

A lot of people were worried, including me since my boyfriend, Guanlin, was working his butt off to make his fans proud. Guanlin and I met as pen pals. He was from Taiwan and I was from (Y/C).  We shared a lot of things in common and helped each other learn Korean.

Soon, those long nights messaging each other became something more. It was a feeling we both couldn't deny and one night, he popped the question to be his girlfriend to which I agreed. Even though we hadn't met, Guanlin and I trusted each other and knew it was going to happen one day.

When I heard he was going to debut in Wanna One, I was ecstatic. I bought every album and even though I couldn't be there in person, I tried my best to support the group and Guanlin as much as I could.

I understood that he couldn't message me that much and I respected it. He was an idol and still needed to learn Korean properly so he needed all the time he could get. But anytime we could talk amazing. We would talk forever about whatever for so long, we both forgot about sleeping or eating.

But after a while, that wasn't enough for me. As soon as I saw that Wanna One's One Year Anniversary was coming, I began working different part time jobs so that I could save up enough money to visit Wanna One in South Korea.

After weeks and weeks of saving, I was finally able to get enough money for my plane ticket to South Korea and still had some extra money to buy supplies for the party. The day finally came where I would depart to see Guanlin.

While I was on the plane, I got a message from Wanna One's manager. He was in on the surprise with me and agreed to pick me up at the airport when the group was having practice for the upcoming tour.

After the long flight, I finally landed in Seoul. I saw. Wanna One's manager at the terminal and he drove me to their dorm. I dropped my luggage and went to the nearest store to get party supplies. As I was laying for them, I felt my pocket vibrate. I fished out my phone and saw Guanlin calling me.

My eyes widened as I head to the closest washroom and answered the phone. Finally, I heard Guanlin's tired voice. "Myriam...I've missed you.."

I smile made it's way to my face as I heard his voice after so long. "I miss you to Lin. But don't worry, your tour is stopping by my city so we'll be able to see each other then." I heard Guanlin groan at the other side of the line.

"But that's in two months! How am I supposed to wait that long?" I let out a small laugh. "If you waited two years, you can wait two more months Guanlin." I saw a group of friends walk into the washroom as I rushed to end the call.

"Sorry Lin but my battery is going to die. I'll call you soon. Bye!" Before he could reply, I ended the call and headed back to their dorm. I got a text from the manager saying that they'd be back at six in the evening. I checked my watch.

'Should be enough time.'

I began decorating the house to make it look as festive as possible. I heard the door knock and stopped what I was doing. I cautiously walked towards the door and peeped through the eyehole to check if it was the boys coming home early.

I let out a sigh as I saw it was the delivery man with an insane amount of food. After setting up everything, I smiled to myself, proud of the work I did. Finally, I heard a key enter the lock and a click coming from the door as 11 tired boys piled in.

They all looked at me in confusion except one. Guanlin stared at me for a good minute before hugging me as tight as he could. After finally being able to meet, Guanlin turned to the boys. "Guys, this is my besigtiful girlfriend, Myriam."

I bowed to them as they did the same. "You guys worked hard in the last year so I think it's fair that you have your own anniversary party. Congratulations!!"

I smiled brightly as the boys crushed me in one big hug before devouring the food that was placed for them. I just watched them eat until I felt something on my shoulder. Guanlin rested his head there as he pulled me in closer to his body.

"I can't believe I'm finally hugging you. This is unbelievable." I nodded as I felt tears come into my eyes. I kissed him on the cheek as I saw his cheeks begin to produce a red tint. "Congratulations Lin. You deserve it."

I saw a mischievous look in Guanlin's eyes as he grabbed the back of my neck and planted his lips on mine. The Wanna One members begin to yell and holler, but I couldn't hear anything in that moment. Guanlin pulled away and later his forehead onto mine.

"Thank you Myriam, for staying by my side for so long, even though we never met. You deserve all the happiness in the world. I love you."

Just like him, I saw my face go red as I looked down, too shy to meet his eye. Despite that, I was still able to say "I love you" back to him.

The rest of the night was spent with Wanna One eating and talking with big smiles on their faces as they all began to write letters for their fans while I just watched like a proud mother.
