I gripped my pen as I turned around to see a smirking Daehwi. "Hey, Eva. Are you still salty? Loosen up, you're making the class feel depressed." I forced a fake smile and glared at him. "Why don't you pick on someone your own size, Lee Daehwi. I'm so tired of watching you try to act cool"

Daehwi chuckled a bit and leaned back in his chair. "So you think about me, huh?" I slightly blushed but when back to looking at the time. The bell finally rang as everyone walked out of class.

I saw as Daehwi and his friends walked out of class. I held the letter in my hand, the one I wanted to give to him so badly, but couldn't. "I guess tomorrow will be the day.. hopefully..."

I got out of my seat and started walking to my next class when as I smiled to myself at the thought of our relationship; Enemies since day one, always at each other's throats and giving each other dry remarks. That was fun, but I always secretly wished that it could be so much more. I frowned a bit as I stared down at the letter again, contemplating on what to do when I heard a voice.

"What's with the sad face? Don't tell me you're sad that you couldn't see me at all today?" I looked around and saw my best friend Jawahir.  I smiled as I playfully hit her arm. "Yeah right.. I'm just contemplating my life choices, you know the usual."

I heard Jawahir laugh as she walked with me. "Thinking about the letter?" I nodded as she continued "Girl, I know you can do it. How about this? Daehwi is going to be at soccer practice after school today. He won't be surrounded by any girls or his friends. Ask him them."

I took a deep breath in and nodded. "You know what? I'm going to do it! I'll give him my letter! Thanks Jawahir.." She smiled back as I put the letter in my bag and walked to class with Jawahir.

What I didn't know was that it didn't go in..

[DAEHWI'S POV]

I saw as Jawahir and Eva walked down the hall. I smiled to myself a bit before my friends grabbed the back of my neck and pulled me to class.

I laughed as we walked to class when I saw Eva drop a piece of paper. I went over and grabbed it when I saw my name on it. In curiosity and confusion, I opened it only to be greeted with a confession.

Dear Daehwi,
Surprise! I guess you're not expecting me to give you this but I have to be honest. I don't like the relationship we have. Sure we have a good laugh from time to time, but I want more. Call me selfish, but I like you Lee Daehwi... I really do. I know I'm being a coward and not telling you face to face, but I'm scared of how you'll react. So.. that's it. Hopefully I don't burden you with this.
Eva~

My eyes widened as I heard the bell. I walked into class, not hearing anything around me except for my heart beating extremely fast. "She... liked me..?"

[YOUR POV]

It was after practice and I was waiting outside the locker room for Daehwi. I remembered the letter and opened my bag to find it only to see it gone. I started panicking as I heard a voice behind me.

"Are you looking for this?" I turned around and saw Daehwi holding my letter as I stared at him blankly.

I snapped out of it after I heard Daehwi call my name a couple of times. "Sorry, I guess you found out.. it's okay if you don't feel the same. I just needed to get it off my chest."

As I turned to leave, Daehwi grabbed my shoulders and put me against the lockers. He leaned in, his arms at both sides of my body. "Don't jump to conclusions so fast. I loved your letter. Just as much as I love you. Sorry if I acted like a jerk. I didn't know how to express my feelings."

I smiled and pecked his lips quickly before looking away. "So is that a yes?" He nodded as he took my hand in his and walked me home.

"Eva, you never told me you had a way with words. You're a real love poet. You think you can give me any tips g writing a love letter to you?"
