I lied down on the couch as I stared up in the ceiling. My siblings and my parents left for a party that I didn't want to go to because it would be the same.
I sighed for the twentieth time and went upstairs to my room. I texted my parents that I would go to sleep early and entered my room. I went under my covers and tried to fall asleep, but it was useless. The more I tried to fall asleep, the more awake I became. I looked at the time and saw it was a couple of hours until midnight.
I just started surfing on my phone when I heard a buzzing noise. I looked around my room until I saw something flying around. I grabbed a jar from my desk and followed it. Once it sat down somewhere, I caught it in the jar.
I leaned in closer to get a better view when I noticed it looked human-like. It had silver wings and was dressed in all green. I stepped back in shock when I heard a voice.
"Why did you trap my fairy?" I turned around to see a boy floating in the centre of my room. I let out a scream until the boy covered my mouth. He gave me a smile and went to the jar to free his 'fairy'.
I stared at the boy and he seemed to notice. He came closer to me and lightly flicked my forehead. "Yah, it's rude to stare.. you're making me feel weird." I blinked after a while and glanced the boy up and down.
"Are you....Peter Pan?" The boy looked at me strangely but let out a laugh. "No, my name is Woojin. But Peter Pan sounds nice. You can call me that if you want, but I prefer Woojin." I nodded and sat down at my bed, trying to gather my thoughts.
It wasn't moments later when Woojin flew in front of me upside down. "Hey have you been to Neverland? It's really pretty at this time of year" I shook my head as he grabbed my hands. "Let me take you there! My friends left me alone but now that I have you, it'll be fun. Please?"
I thought about it and then looked at the time. My family wouldn't be home for a few hours. I looked back at Woojin and nodded. "Okay, you can take me, but I have to be back soon. Okay?"
Woojin nodded and held both of my hands tightly. "The flight will be bumpy, so hold on tight! Oh, and close your eyes." I nodded as I grabbed his hands and shut my eyes as tight as I could. I felt the wind hitting my face as Woojin zoomed through the sky.
After a while, Woojin told me to open my eyes. I did slowly and my mouth dropped as I saw the island in front of me. Once we made it to the ground, I walked around in amazement, with Woojin just smiling at me.
What felt like days, were only mere hours when I was with Woojin, despite us only meeting. We played into the coves, met different animals and Woojin even got help from fairies to help me fly. After all that, Woojin and I were sitting at the top of the highest mountain in Neverland, admiring the sunset.
It wasn't until I saw a family of deer that I was reminded of my own. I looked at Woojin and sighed. "Woojin, I think I have to go home now.." Woojin's smile faded as he looked at me. "I don't want you to leave. But if it took you from your family, you wouldn't be happy.."
Woojin held my hand and smiled at me. " I promise that we'll see each other again. Okay?" I sadly nodded but put on a smile. He held my hands tightly and we flew off into the sky. I had my eyes shut until....
I woke up. I looked around my room to see everything the same. I frowned as it was all a dream. I went downstairs to get something to drink when I saw my family taking with someone. My dad saw me and told me to come.
I went into the room they were in and was shocked to see Woojin in a suit.

He smiled at me as my dad introduce him. "This is Park Woojin. He's the son of the owner of Neverland Inc. and spends most of his time there. He's here as his father and I have been discussing business, so he'll be around more often. I'll let you two talk for a while."
As my family left my room, Woojin stood up and made his way towards me. I smiled widely as he pulled me into a hug "I promised that we would see each other again, right?"
