Bae Jinyoung - Quiet Boy

" (Y/N), there's something I need to tell you..." I notice Jinyoung acting weird so I just nod. We were on the rooftop during our lunch break because he told me that there was an amazing breeze up here, and he was right.

Before I could say anything back, he cornered me at the rails, his hands at either side of my body. "I-I...like you..No more than that. I love you.." I started blushing. As he leaned down to kiss me, I heard a sound...

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock and groaned. 'It was all a dream...' I thought. I got up and got ready for school. I put on my uniform and kissed my mom and dad goodbye. "(Y/N), you forget to eat breakfast!" "It's fine, I'll buy on the way. I'm late" I put on my shoes and ran out the door.

I sighed as I looked up at the sky. I kept having the same dream over and over again for the past couple of weeks. "Why do I have to like my quiet classmate?" I asked myself.

Jinyoung was the best student at my high school. He got the best grades, he did amazing in sports and is the captain of the soccer team and he has amazing looks. Everyone wants to be his friends, but he has his own group of friends. There's one problem with him though....

He doesn't talk to girls. No matter what he avoids girls, especially me. At first, I hated him for thinking he was better. But slowly, I fell for him. His contagious smile, the way he laughs and his eyes that I could get lost in for days. I sighed one last time before I made it on school grounds. I saw my best friend, Jennie and waved at her.

We walked to our lockers to put our stuff away and we headed to class. I saw Jinyoung at the back of the class with his friends Daehwi and Guanlin. Once he saw me walk in class, he gave me a smile. Jennie and I gave each other weird looks and made it to our desks.

"Why would he smile at you, (Y/N)? He never smiles at any girl. Not even the female teachers." Jennie said whispering. "I don't know!? Why are you asking me? I've never talked to him." I put my books in my desk when j felt a loose piece of paper. It was a note.

Hey (Y/N),
I bet you don't know me, but I know you a lot. I love everything about you. The way you smile and how it makes me smile. The way you always put your hair back when you're working and when you sleep during class with out anyone knowing. I hope you can give me a chance. Meet me on the roof during our lunch break and I'll reveal myself.

I showed Jennie and she smiled at me. "Go for it! I mean you have nothing to lose. And if something bad happens, I'll be behind the door ready to attack!" I laughed and nodded. For the next three classes, I couldn't focus on what the teachers were saying. All I wanted to do was meet whoever sent me this letter.

The lunch bell rang and I ran out of class. I made it to the roof door and took a deep breath in. I walked on to the roof to see no one. I bitterly laughed and held back tears. "Of course this was a prank. No one likes me... Why do I always have so much hope....?"

"That's what I like about you (Y/N)..." I turned around to see Jinyoung . I widened my eyes and wiped away my tears. I room out the note. "So, you wrote me this?" I saw him nod. "Why?" 

He took a deep breath and looked at me. "(Y/N)...there's something I need to tell you..."  I couldn't help but feel that this felt similar to something but I couldn't put my finger on it.

He took a step closer and cornered me at the rails with his arms at both of my sides. "I-I like you...No I love you. Please accept me." My eyes widened as I looked down. Jinyoung noticed and put his hand away. "I'm sorry if I made you nervous (Y/N)."

As he turned to leave I grabbed his arm. "Have you ever heard the saying, 'if you dream the same dream a lot, it may come true?" Jinyoung had confusion written on his face but nodded. "I've dreamt of this happening for a while now. And I love you too. I love you Bae Jinyoung..."

Jinyoung gave me the biggest smile and leaned in to kiss me. While things were about to get hotter, I heard a camera. I turned to the door and saw Jennie with her phone out. "Jennie! You just ruined the moment!" I exclaimed at little sad.

She smiled at me. "Wait until the school sees this. The new power couple. Oh and Jinyoung , you break her heart and I break you." Jinyoung nervously nodded and as she left he gave me a quick peck on my lips.

"How about we tell the school before she does? I want everyone to know you're mine" I smiled and nodded. We held hands until we reached our class and told everyone the news.
