𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬

Bae Jinyoung - Bae~

I heard my bedroom door open as I saw  my brother, Jinyoung. I sent him a small smile as he came over to me with a small box in his hand.

"Yo, (Y/N), Happy Birthday~ Hope you like my present noona/dongsaeng-ah.."
I smiled as I slowly opened the box. I slightly gasped as I saw a charm bracelet with a charm that had my name.

"Wow!! I love it!! Thanks
Jinyoung-ah/oppa!" I smiled widely  as I gave Jinyoung a hug. As I did, I felt a shock of excitement surge through my body as I touched him.

For the past year, my feelings of Jinyoung have changed; At first, All I felt was brotherly love. But as we grew older, I started feeling different things for him. More than brotherly love.

I let go of the hug and grabbed my bag and went downstairs. I kissed my parents goodbye as they wished me happy birthday as well. As I left the house, I saw Jinyoung in his car and gestured for me to come in.

I nodded and  walked in as he fatsned my seatbelt for me. "It's your birthday, don't expect this everyday. Besides, you always walk to school.. let me drive you~".  I felt my face become but I quickly looked away as I agreed. Jinyoung smiled and stared the engine to drive us to school.

As soon as we were in the school parking lot, I exited the car to cool my face off in the washroom when I heard Jinyoung. "Hey! I'm taking you out for after school too! Don't make any plans!"

I felt my face become red as I rushed inside the school trying to look for my best friend Jawahir. She was the only one who knew about my crush on Jinyoung. I saw her talking to some classmates as I pulled her away.

"Jawahir.. I need your help.. it's Jinyoung.." Her annoyed face soon turned into one of concern as she nodded. We headed to the rooftop where no one could hear us.

"(Y/N).. this is a difficult situation... I know you like him, but do you know what would happen to you and your family if anyone else found out? Your lives would be ruined by fake gossip and rumours.."

I nodded as I held my head. "I know! I forgot about those feelings for a couple of months but today.. they all came rushing back. And now he wants to take me out today after school! What do I do?" Jawahir sighed as she rubbed my back in comfort.

"It is your birthday so just go. Besides, it won't be awkward unless you make it. Just act like brother and sister.." I smiled and gave Jawahir a quick hug before we headed to class.

The school day went by quick as the final bell rang. I went to the parking lot and saw Jinyoung talking with his friends by his car. He saw me and waved over for me to come over. I nodded and walked over, greeting his friends quickly before sitting in the car with Jinyoung.

We drove off of school property as Jinyoung looked at me. "I have something to tell you. Mom and dad really wanted me to say this.." I looked at Jinyoung in concern as I let him continue.

He just smiled and put his eyes back on to the road. "I'll tell you after our fun day out!" I just smiled back as I turned on the radio and sang along to every song that played.

We finally made it to a My favourite restaurant to eat. After we ordered our food, Jinyoung tried to make me laugh as he pranks the waiters. I laughed as hard as I could, not caring who was statutory at us as our food arrived

We spent a good hour talking about school and friends as we ate our food. After we finished,  Jinyoung and I walked back to his car as he turned on the engine. "Now.. we're going on a ride!" I smiled as we screamed at the top of our lungs, driving through the streets.

We finally headed to a spot near our house that we spent a lot of time when we were kids. Jinyoung finally looked at me as he started.

"(Y/N).. I think it's about time I told you that... you're adopted. Mom and dad didn't want to say it as they thought that you'd run away. They said you trusted me the most so.. that's why. Your real parents left you in at our doorsteps when you were young, promising that they'd come back... I'm so so sorry that you had to find about this now."

I let everything sip as Jinyoung have me some space to think.  After a while, I looked at Jinyoung and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He looked at me in confusion as I smile brightly. "Those people aren't my parents. Mine are in our house worrying about us. Even if I'm not biologically related to you, I'm not going to throw away the fact of how close we are.. I really like you Jinyoung... not in a family type way, but more.."

Jinyoung smiled as he kissed the top of my forehead and pulled me close to him. "Well I'm going to make you a Bae for sure.. in a more memorable way.."
