"Em have you seen my shades?"
"You left them in my car", I yell laying on the couch, watching tv.
"Bye, love you." August says, kissing me on my forehead. "Where are you going?"
"Studio, I'll be back tonight."
*Ringgggggg*
"Hello?"
"Hey girl, you wanna go to draya's pool party today? I'll pick you up.", Jessica says through the phone.
"Cool, I'll be ready in 30 min."
I run to my room and throw on my snakeskin mint swim bathing suit with some high waist shorts & MK sandals.
*knock knock* I get up and run to the door.
"Girl, you look cute!"
"Thanks Jess"
"Now come on, let's go. Everyone's going to be there."
On the ride to the party, we blast August's new album "Testimony".

"Yeah, I'm really proud of him."
"Me too", she says smirking. She's been bringing up August a lot lately. But that's my best friend, she's probably excited about everything just as much as I am. I don't think I have anything to worry about with them.

When we arrive at the pool party, everybody who has a name is there.
"I really wish August could have came with me"
"Draya!" Jessica says walking towards the bar.
"Hey babies", Draya says hugging us. "Girl you look fine as hell in my bathing suit. I might have to get you down with fineassgirls" I laugh.
"Well, y'all enjoy. Let me know if you need anything" she says walking away.
"Look, there's Fabulous!" "Fab!" Jessica says walking towards him. Jessica knows everyone, and it's mainly because she's slept with so many people.
"Fab, this is my bestfriend Emily. Em this is fabulous"
"Hi", I say shaking his hand.
"Well, I'll let you two get to know each other" Jessica says skipping off. I knew she was gonna do that.
"So you from around here?"
"No, I'm from LA."
"What you doing all the way in ATL then?"
"So I could live with my boyfriend, August."
"Alsina?"
"Yeah", I say smiling.
"So your the girl everyone's been talking about?
"Yeah, I guess so."
"Damn, August better be treating you right. Cause if he isn't, I will.", he says looking me up and down.
