Fireflies (marshall and marceline)

Chapter one

Marceline's p.o.v

(thud!) I shot my eyes open as I fell off my bed, "ow--how the hell did I fell? I always hover when I sleep". I rubbed my eyes then brushed my pure black hair to the sides. I looked outside of my window, it was already dawn and we have a jamming session today. I quickly picked up my self heading towards the bathroom, then took a quick bath. just as I finish I heard a knock on the door, 'must be Finn'.

"hey marceline! I'm ready for the jamming session!" Finn shouted gleefully outside my door, he would normally come here alone without Jake

"the door's open, just come in!"

"where are you?"

"wait, I'm coming" I muttered as I go down the stairs

"hey--you'll be singing your song today, as a punishment for being late~!" he chuckled while putting his headphone on

"hey that's unfair!, you're not the boss around this parts"

"what? I didn't hear you" he said playing dumb like he didn't hear me

"okay...I know your style..so, you ready?" I asked as I started strumming my bass, "oh yeah~" he said sarcastically like he normally does. he played a beat that matched the mellow tune my bass was making.

"Hey you know me,

I'm a bad girl, as they say.

I'm unstable and I hurt you

so why would you come near me?"

I started to sing in a gentle manner then sung the rest of the lyrics. I stopped as soon as I saw Finn staring at me and stopped beating. It's fine if he hears me sing because it wasn't really that personal like when I sung the thing about the fries.

"what~?" I started, blowing a piece of my hair to the sides.

"when did you thought of it?-- the song ,I mean" he asked playing the recorder

"well-- umm...when I saw flambo playing with some water elemental or something"

"oh! okay--"

"Finn?!" a familiar voice called Finn outside the house

"oh, hey Jake!" Finn greeted him with a wide smile as he opened the door, so did I.

"hey!~ you know we should be guarding ice king by now!" Jake said in an aggressive manner

"yup! I know, and we should get going!" Finn replied

"okay-- I forgive you, come here, I'll give you a hug" Jake started to extend his hands for Finn, hugging him, 'is he mocking him?', I chuckled

"whoa dude, I didn't ask for forgiveness" Finn stated pushing Jake away from his grip

"haha-- so marmar, wanna come with us and kick ice king's butt? it will be a total FUN!" Jake added

"nah~, I think I'll pass"

"oh..then, we'll be taking our leave! bye!" Jake and Finn waved goodbye as I close the door heading towards the kitchen. just as I open the fridge I saw the ruddy strawberries in the basket, 'ohh..yum! breakfast is served'.
I sat in my couch , sucked the redness out of the strawberries, played the recorder then listened to it. 'it can relate to Finn and fp...I think, so that's why he asked'. those thoughts surfaced in my head making me chuckle

finn's p.o.v

As we got out of marceline's cave we quickly headed to the ice kingdom to guard ice king--for kidnapping more princess. We also saw flambo on the way so he came with us as usual, then we safely landed in an ice where we can see his castle.

"There he goes again with a princess, don't you ever get tired if this Finn?" flambo complained

"Nope" I answered, "Well, it's our duty anyway...let's go Finn" Jake added. I ride Jake's back till we got to ice king's castle.

"Hey ice king! let slime princess go!" I shouted at him

"Argh! why so you always have to appear everytime I kidnap one!-- here your free!" ice king complained, freeing the princess.

"Whoa, easy as that?"Jake asked wondering

"You don't want my offer?-- then here!" he started shooting ice at us which made us fall outside his castle, he followed us down then started shooting again. 'Whoa, hes pretty serious today' we started to fight back which made him stumble to the ground.

"Hyah! die ice king!"I shouted and was about to attack him

"But--how?" he started to say weakly, which caught me off guard. He made a big snowball and threw it to me enough to make me fall on my knees, thudding and rolling in the snow which made my skin numb.
