Chapter three

Marceline's p.o.v

Today the opening will be held in the ice kingdom, I was curled up in my couch when I was thinking of going. I turned the hot water running then slipped in the tub, it's kinda nice to relax for once in a while.

I wore my plaid red and dark red shirt with a hoody and a plaid grey and dirty white shirt underneath. My faded black skinny jeans and my red converse shoes. Then tied my hair in a high pony tail.

I am flying my way to the ice kingdom when the icy cold temperature hit my skin. Enjoying the cold temperature I flew faster and landed in a flat icy ground. Wondering around I realized ,I was the only one not wearing any warm covering  , well.. the cold temperature never bother me. When I glanced at some certain direction I saw Bonnibel walking towards me which gave me some goose bumps.'creepy'

"There you are, I was looking all over for you--your seat is right next to Finn" she said as we walk in front.

"So~ they managed to gather in here with this temperature"

"Yeah, maybe they don't feel it because of the excitement"

"How bout' you? Don't feel cold?"

"Nope--I like it!!" We reached the seat, she waved goodbye leaving me with Finn and jake

"Hey Finn" I greeted him bumping his shoulders playfully

"Sup--so you came after all!" Jake exclaimed

"Haha...yeah I did" I chuckled

"Hey~ I noticed something-- your wearing something 'special' " jake stated

"what special? this isn't special in any occasion"

"No I mean your wearing something more than a tank top!, your excited aren't you?" He teased

"N-no, is it unlike me?"

"No, your looking cool....look she's starting" Finn said

"You're not really excited about this, aren't you!"

"Yea~ I already saw my swap" he said sighing like he's disappointed

Bonnibel started her long boring speech. I wasn't really listening but I think I heard her thank Finn and jake for accompanying her. I flinched when I heard her declare with her piercing voice--well for me, but no offense

"The cave is officially opened!" just then a bubblegum humanoid that looks exactly like bonnie came out assisting some candy people, which made my jaw drop. ' what the hell is happening?'

This can't be real "pinch me if I'm dreaming" , then I felt someone pinch me real hard, which totally hurt. As I turn my head it was Finn, "the hell Finn! That just came out of my mouth", "sorry" he said chuckling

Bubblegum's p.o.v

(Before the opening)

(Thud!) A loud knock wakes me up. Noiselessly, I turned my head facing the big window beside my bed. I can see the first signs of dawn. (Thud!thud!thud!), 'who could be knocking at my door at this hour', "princess?" I heard peppermint butler call me. 'Oh my glob! Today's the opening day'--" u..um just give me a minute" I shouted back at him, as I changed in my pink long gown, brushed my hair and wore my long furry cape that was enough to keep me from having frostbites. Then rushed out to greet peppermint.

In the ice kingdom they prepared a stage for me and covered the chairs in white cloth for a change. In an hour everyone quickly occupied their seats. After I finish my boring speech, gumball came out of the cave assisting the candy people. Since we're in the ice kingdom they are wearing their cute, furry sweaters, a minute of being in a daze I notice gumball walking to where I was standing then suddenly  stood beside me.

"Hey.." He greeted me with his sweet voice

"Um..hi"

"So how's your life at Ooo?"

"It's fine, too many science, and adventures with Finn, how bout' you any romantic parts you can tell" I teased

"No...maybe just like you" he frowned

'What does he mean just like me? If its what I'm thinking-then ouch! That hit me. It doesn't mean that I took my responsibility first, that its something to be disappointed. I just.. chose what's right, he's too young, I know. But, I don't want to give him some hopes up' .

I took my mind off about what gumball just said when I saw Finn glaring at fire prince for being with FP, so was Fionna. 'Haha--jealous freaks' I tried to laugh with a low voice, only regretting it later. I know I'm jealous, I just won't admit it. It's really stupid--the thing they call 'love'

"We're looking at the same person aren't we?" He mumbled

"Maybe! Are they really that possessive when it comes to the one they like?"

"Candy people are"

"Um..can we talk about something else? It's making us look like losers" I insisted, but he stared at me with those Irish green orbs of his like he didn't understand. " you know--for not liking them back with our hearts full of content--" I blocked my mouth with my hand to keep more disgusting words from coming out. "See-- I don't know what I'm saying" I tried to say it as casually as I could, and tried to laugh in a low voice to keep him from noticing.

"Yeah, your right" he then looked at me forming a gentle smile on his lips making me smile back at him.We talked a lot after that and changed our subject. I'd rather talk about myself for a day than talk about those stuff. Gumball's a nice person, he understands every single thing that I say. And he understands my position more than my other friends. I just wish we could get to know each other more.
