Chapter 15

I was sitting here trying to explain my dream to Chanel. But she just doesn't believe me.

"So Jayda died in the dream?" she asked.

"Yes! because of some shoot out at a trap. But I know this means something Chanel. I just know."

"If your trying to say Jayda is going to die, I'm gonna need you to stop saying shit like that. Okay?"

"I mean it could happen! and YOU almost died too! you tried to kill yourself twice."

"What?" she gasped.

"Yeah..we were at her funeral and everything. I swear it seemed so real." I put my head in my hands.

"Just...just get it out of your head okay? our family is perfect and we have nothing to worry about." she smiled.

I returned the smile but something was telling me otherwise. She got up to go give Jayda a bottle and I just sat there thinking.

"Hey have you talked to Marissa lately?" she asked.

"No..hell naw. You know ion like that bitch." I said.

"Yeah..me neither." she said.

"I mean you were the one who let her live here." I said.

"I didn't know Jaden damn."

"Yeah okay."

|CHANEL POV|

I was getting tired of him talking about that. Like yeah, I made a mistake. Let's get over it and live on with our lives.

I went downstairs and fed Jayda a bottle.

Afterwards, I got ready to go to work. The school I was trying to be a nurse at hired me a while ago. But the difficulties with Jayda and her medical problem held me back a little.

"Where you going?" Jaden asked me.

"Work." I said, putting on my mascara.

He gave me a confusing look.

"School nurse Jaden." I said.

I knew he was still against me being a nurse at that school but I wanna do it, So I'm going to do it.

I put my scrubs on and my Nike's. My hair was just up in a bun. I grabbed my jacket and purse. I gave Jaden a kiss and Jayda one as well.

"Love you. Bye." I said.

"Love you too."

I jogged downstairs and left the house. Let's just hope my first day here isn't as bad as it may seem.

|JADEN POV|

I ended up dropping Jayda off at my moms so I can go run a couple errands.

My phone started ringing and Mateo's name popped up on the screen. I answered.

"Hello?"

"Yea what you up to man?"

"Nun just running a couple errands, wassup?"

"Can you go pick my girl up for me?"

"Where she at?" I asked.

"The grocery store. Her car broke down so I had to drop her off and I'm busy right now so I can't pick her up."

"Ight I gotta pick up some groceries anyway. I got her."

"Thanks man."

"Yup." I hung up and made my way to the grocery store.
