Okay so I feel strange writing in this fandom because Thomas Sanders is a real person?? But I feel slightly better because this fic isn't revolving around him, exactly. I see his Sides as different entities, all of whom I love.
The five of them walked into the building in different states of mind, but all left in the same one; content.
Thomas was slightly embarrassed, feeling like he didn't belong. Anxiety looks around at all the colors and joy and knows he doesn't belong. Morality is practically bouncing with enthusiasm, knowing that that this was his kind of place. Logic is formulating a game plan in his head from the moment he strolls in. Prince is just happy that he final convinced Thomas to take them all there.
"Why is it that we haven't been here in so long?" Prince takes a long, nostalgic look around the room.
Anxiety snorts. "Because Chuck E. Cheese's is a place for children, and we're 28."
"Ah," Prince snaps his fingers. "That's right." He barely finished his sentence before Morality surged forward, having grabbed his Play Pass from Thomas, laughing like he was a child.
"Where a kid can be a kid," Logic smirks.
Prince returns his look. "It's an accurate... sLOGAN."
"Stop," he glared. "Just stop."
Logic grabbed his pass from Thomas and followed in the direction that Morality had run off in with the intention of settling the fun-loving personality, when he noticed a color wheel. He surveyed the game for a few seconds before swiping his pass. "It may be a game of chance, but taking into account the tilt and speed of the wheel..."
Morality had settled himself on the seat of the Deal or No Deal game, picking case number 4 as his own.
Waiting in line for the Kenchucke Derby ride was Prince. He was immediately attracted to the game because of his own Knight experiences with riding horses. Climbing on after a little girl with pigtails hopped off, he swipes his pass and proceeds to ride his horse around the virtual track.
"Onwards, gentle steed," he ducks his body as if riding a real horse, tugging on the reigns. "We have to save the fair maiden!"
Anxiety slowly walks past the fanciful personality and swipes his card at the Nicktoons racing game, picking Danny Phantom as his character, relating to him because they both are dead inside.
Morality groans in slight annoyance at having eliminated the case with the largest number of tickets when Prince dismounts the horse. The fanciful side spots an archery game, Crossbow Master, and rushes towards it. He smiles to himself, feeling that he would excel at this game because of his training in real archery.
After swiping his card and waiting for the game to say "Ready? Go!" The arrow began to move up and down. Prince quickly ducks to get a straight view from the arrow to the hole in the apple he needed to hit. When it looked perfect, he slammed down on the button, and it went straight towards the hole. He grinned, expecting to be leveled up, when the machine buzzed that he had missed the hole.
"What?" He frowned and leaned down for his allotted second attempt. "That was a perfect shot."
When he missed again, he kicked the game and swiped his card once more. Logic walks over, looking puzzled, and asks Prince why he was mistreating the machine.
"It cheated," Prince grumbled as watches the arrow move up and down. He misses twice more and stands up in a huff.
Logic tilts his head. "Step aside." He lightly pushes Prince out of the way and swipes his own card. He leans down and watches the arrow as Prince watches him. When the arrow is slightly above the hole, Logic presses the button and the arrow pushes forward and at the last second, dips down ever so slightly so that the arrow pushes the button on the other side of the hole.
