Not necessarily canon with my other one-shots.

I made the short video attached to this chapter if you want to (it's about the Sanders Sides); it's only 7 seconds long.

Trigger warning: depression

...

de·pres·sion
/dəˈpreSH(ə)n/
noun
1.feelings of severe despondency and dejection.
"self-doubt creeps in and that swiftly turns to depression"

Logan reread this definition for the third day in a row, and he still was not convinced. Sure, he had feeling more down than normal, and certainly more down than he has been in the past, but he could not believe that it was possible for him to actually have depression.

Something had been eating at him for some time, and, not understanding it, decided to research his symptoms. He had been expecting a simple cure, like creating a healthier diet, exercising more, sleeping more; but he had not expected there to be anything off with him, mentally.

Closing his laptop, Logan was once again lost in his thoughts. Yes, I have been less interested in doing the activities I used to enjoy, such as reading; and no matter how much sleep I did get, I never felt rested. Some days, I would sleep for 12+ hours, and other days, I would not find sleep at all.

Rocking slightly back in forth in his chair, Logan surveyed his desk. The book he was overjoyed upon buying lay there only partially read for weeks. Whenever he attempted to pick it up and continue from where he left off, his concentration would grow fuzzy and his mind would wander: Did Virgil really mean what he said about me being the least popular character..? Does Roman's name-calling mean he does not like me..? Is Patton still upset with me because I yelled at him..? It seems so...

Sighing, Logan sits up from his chair and looks at the clock. Seeing that it was about time for Thomas to wake up for the day, he stretched, having had a night in which he barely got enough sleep to be considered as passable.

Sinking down to wait for Thomas' alarm to sound, Logan took out his checklist booklet out of his pocket. Despite not being known to lose things easily, this little booklet got lost so frequently, Logan tried to keep it on him at all times; he never knew when he would need to write something down to remember for later.

Breakfast
Thomas needs to actually eat breakfast this morning before inevitably running out of time to get ready.

Shower
And NOT just rubbing a bar of soap under his arms.

Get dressed
Logan needed to act extra motivated today to convince Thomas not to wear the same shirt again.

Meet Leo at 11AM
Thomas was late the last time they met up, so he has to be early this time; better make sure he leaves by 10:30.

Make cookies with Patton!! :D
Right... wait, what?

Logan furrowed his eyebrows and studied that bullet point a little closer. He recognized the note as Patton's sloppy handwriting. Frowning a little, Logan realized that if he ignored the invitation, Patton would either act obviously upset with him but still try to pretend he was not, or pretend he did not exist until Logan agreed to accompany him with whatever task he had wanted to have done.

Great.

...

After decorating the cooled down cookies with Patton, in which Logan thought was an unnecessary attempt to cover up how squashed the cookies were due to the excited Side tripping over his own feet and flipping the pan upside down, Logan sat down in the living room where Patton insisted that they chat while enjoying the cookies. At least they are still edible.
