He Wished

Neither Roman nor Virgil wanted to get up. The two of them lay on the couch, arms and legs intertwined with each other. A movie was playing but the two of them had begun to completely ignore it, instead relishing in the physical company of each other.

Roman runs his finger through Virgil's hair, curling it slightly, and burrowed his cheek against Virgil's head, breathing in his scent. He loved his emo nightmare. Virgil sighed against Roman's shoulder, listening to his steady heartbeat.

Logan was watching the two of them out of the corner of his eye. He glances beside him to see Patton sitting a few feet away, curled in a blanket with his head propped up against a pillow to watch the movie.

I wish I could have that, Logan thought. Twirling his fingers around the tie he had removed from his attire when he joined them for the movie, he couldn't help but wish for something more.

Never saying anything because he was Logic, his feelings went unexpressed and unindulged. Often enough, Logic was able to avoid feeling any of his negative feelings. Suppressing them, he was much more satisfied in the long run; but not exactly happy.

Part of Patton's hair fell into his face as Logan watched him and the other made no move to push it out of his way, clearly not bothered by it and still able to see the movie. Logan wishes he could be sitting right next to Patton so that he could push it out of the way, revealing his beautiful golden brown eyes.

Patton would thank him with that endearing smile of his, and Logan would return it. This was just a daydream, Logan had to remind himself. Focusing back on the movie instead of on the man next to him, Logan tried to stop his wandering thoughts.

But that doesn't stop him from wanting to feel Patton's body flush against his as they cuddle, Patton's fingers carding through his hair, Patton's lips on his own...

Patton twists in his blankets, curling more into the pillow he was snuggling with. Logan was irrationally jealous of the pillow.

Eyes drooping, Patton started to fall asleep, unable to keep watching the movie to the end. Logan wished he could take him to bed, remove his glasses, and just lay there with him. Happy. Content.

Logan slowly turns back to the movie, feeling a silent tear stream down his face. He doesn't bother wiping it away.

...

This is so short but I'm just so emotional for Logan. Why can't he express himself??
