Logan knew that Patton baked when he was stressed. He was observant enough to know that Patton would bake certain things depending on how he was feeling.
If Patton was overexerted or overwhelmed, he would bake cookies. This was one that he'd actually admitted to in the Q&A video. If he had a long day and wanted to eat a cookie, or a second cookie, he would have to bake then. He found mixing the ingredients and cutting out shapes with cookie cutters relaxing, which was an activity he'd dragged Virgil to occasionally, not that Virgil ever seemed to complain.
Whenever Patton was feeling a bit sad or upset over something, Logan noticed that he'd make cupcakes. It required a bit more thought to make several batches of colored frosting to decorate the cupcakes, and the process would tend to make him feel better. Logan himself had offered to assist Patton make the cupcakes on occasion, recognizing the symptom of his melancholy emotions.
Other desserts such as muffins or cinnamon rolls Logan recognized as when Patton was feeling nostalgic. Brownies and ice cream were a typical happy dish for Patton, whenever he was feeling particularly saucy and romantic.
Cakes made Logan start to worry. He'd usually find a big cake sitting in the kitchen, fully decorated with a few slices already missing whenever Patton was feeling bad. Logan had begun to associate cakes with Patton's distant and quiet nature in which he'd avoid the others for an extended period of time. The amount of work cakes took to make and decorate gave Patton a lot of time to think, and Logan feared for where his mind would wander.
The only rare thing that Patton ever made was pie. Roman had requested cherry pie in a joking way once, and Logan couldn't help but see something in Patton's eyes when he'd rejected the idea, claiming that he just didn't like to make pie. He knew something was seriously wrong when Patton made pie.
The first time he'd made a pie, Patton had afterwards walked around for the whole day in a daze. He'd zone out randomly and not do particularly anything. Logan didn't realize he was melting down until an hour after he realized Patton had disappeared altogether. The aftermath wasn't something they'd ever want to experience again.
So when Logan walked into the kitchen to see Roman digging into a fresh-baked pie cooling down on the stove, his eyes widened in utter fear.
"I don't know why Pat doesn't make pies more often," Roman mumbled to Logan when he saw him, mouth full of blueberries and cream. "This is amazing."
Logan didn't respond, leaving the kitchen in a rush to find Patton before anything happened. He burst into the emotional Side's room luckily before anything really bad happened.
Patton was sitting unmoving in the middle of his room, unaware to his surroundings and sitting on the floor. He didn't seem to notice when Logan made his way in the room and sat down on the floor beside him.
When talking to him didn't seem to matter, as Patton either didn't hear him or ignored him, Logan instead reached a hand out and set it on Patton's arm. He felt awkward trying to give physical contact, but Patton was scaring him. Patton looked at him.
His eyes, so unlike the normal sparkle he usually had, were empty. It looked like he had just simply given up, and Logan didn't even know why. He would have been less worried if Patton was crying, but he wasn't even doing that. "Oh, Patton..."
Logan leaned into him and wrapped his arms around Patton's shoulders, getting over his awkwardness to envelope him in a hug. Patton remained practically unresponsive as he sat limp in his arms while Logan continued to talk to him, trying to figure out what was wrong while also comforting him.
Patton was different than Virgil, and even if this was a similar panic attack to what Virgil gets when he just shuts down, Logan knew that while Virgil shies away from physical contact, Patton always absorbed it. He'd always been to one to give it, so receiving it was the logical option.
It took several long minutes, but when Logan finally looked down at Patton's face, he saw a single tear cascading down his cheek. Logan gently lifted his chin, making his sad eyes meet his own concerned ones. Once Patton's eyes locked on Logan's, his eyebrows scrunched tightly and he let his head fall limp, tucked into his own shoulder.
Shudders started to rack his body as he silently allowed tears to fall freely from his eyes. Logan pulled him closer into his arms, rocking the two of them slightly and rubbing his back to soothe his shaking frame.
Logan figured out what emotion pies were associated with: despair.
After the event, Logan made sure to give a brief description of it to Virgil and Roman, leaving a single warning for them to remember: If Patton bakes a pie, find him immediately. Do not let him out of your sight.
...

I found this prompt in some prompt book, and I took a screenshot of it real quick, but I don't remember where I got it. Sorry.
