Part 1: New Year's Goals

Not my original idea, but I believe in it wholeheartedly: "OMG WHAT IF THE SIDES ARE DISNEY CHARACTERS IN ROMAN'S ROOM". This is my guess of what could happen when Roman's room is introduced, which if I had to guess would be a two-parter (although Thomas doesn't like making two-part videos, it would only be fair to give Roman and Logan's room two-part videos since Virgil and Patton's room were two-part episodes) sometime after New Years to make some New Year's resolutions after a shorter Sanders Sides video for Christmas that is just a regular, non-monumental video in Thomas' normal living room, similar to the Fitting In (Harry Potter) video between Accepting Anxiety and Moving On. I'm sorry that ^^^ became just like, one long sentence heh heh... hah.

...

"I know you all may remember last year when I made more achievable goals such as to keep organized, save more money, and... well..." Thomas cringes, reminding himself of how impulsive he is when online shopping or waiting in the checkout line.

Thomas chuckles to himself as he thinks back to how messy his room was, having just pulled everything out of his closet to find a specific shirt that despite wearing already four times this month, was his favorite and he would wear it again. "Well, that's what New Year's goals are for; to constantly try and improve the things you are less proud of."

"And when..." Thomas trails off, giving himself a chance to breathe. He needed to leave a larger pause in between those two sentences to allow for him to insert the Sanders Sides introduction clip.

Taking a larger breath, Thomas gathers his thoughts. "Honestly, the real problem with New Year's goals, for me at least, is the motivation part of it. I might have all these ideas, but when some of them seem too far-fetched, I can't find it within myself to start the ones that are easier to accomplish."

"But this year...." Thomas trails off, fiddling with his hands. "I actually do feel motivated. I have great friends and I know they can help me with anything I can't achieve on my own, but now I can't think of any ideas..."

"Well-" Roman pops up, with a grand gesture as usual.

"No!" Logan pops up immediately after with his arms crossed. Thomas glances in between them as Logan gives the royal side a slight glare.

Roman frowns, confused and obviously annoyed. "What..."

"We are not going to do what you're thinking." Logan straightens his glasses as Princey scrunches his eyebrows at him.

Thomas also looks curiously at the logical side. "What?"

"Why not?!" Roman attempts to argue, and it became obvious to Thomas that the two of them have discussed... whatever they are talking about, before.

"You know why," Virgil appears in his usual spot on the stairs and instantly takes a seat. "Don't act dumb."

Roman scoffed at him. "I'm not dumb!"

"Didn't say you were..."

"Now Roman," Patton pops up and gives said side a chiding look. "Nobody is saying that you are dumb. I, for one, think it's a great idea!"

Thomas looks at them all with a bewildered look. Logan huffs. "Patton, do you not remember what happened the last time we did this?"

"Yes..." Patton lowers his chin a little in a frown. "I also remember it was you that insisted."

The logical side purses his lips. "That was my mistake, I take the fall for that, but I am also insisting that we do not repeat the same error."

"It won't be an error if you just trust me," Roman tried to insist before the cynical side cut him off.
