Unspoken Words

I once saw a light
It blinks rapidly and it shines so bright
I asked the light
"Why are you so bright?"
He replied.
"I want you to notice me that's why I am so bright."
"And now that I already notice you, can you tone down your light?"
I simply replied.
He just smiled at me and he said,
"Remember that I am always here to be your light. Regardless of what situation I'm facing, If you need me, You will have my light."
That made me stop.
Before I can even utter a word, darkness already envelops me.
It is very uncomfortable.
I feel empty.
This is odd.
I just stood here in the middle of the darkness,
Not moving nor blinking.
I don't need light,
Am I right?
