Ever make a deal with the devil? Well, picture him a bad boy with a billion tattoos. But a deal is a deal. I sighed looking out of the window. How did I get myself into this mess?

"Are you going to stand there all day or are you going to lay down next to me?"

Did I mention Braydon was laying on my bed tossing a ball in the air? Apparently, he likes to lay on beds and talk a lot. This made me wonder if he had actually been with a lot of girls like all the rumors going around.

I walked over and laid down next to him.

"So, what do you want to talk about," I asked.

"Why are you so shy?"

"I don't know, I just always have been that way. Why are you the way you are?"

"It's easier than letting people in."

"How come?"

"Because they tend to usually want one thing from you and that's to use you."

"You really don't like people, do you?"

"If you mean because they only want to hang because of what I have, then no, I don't."

"That's okay because I really don't want anything from you, anyway."

He caught the ball and looked at me, "What?"

"Who wants a big fancy house, lots of clothes and cars? It's such a rough life," I said with a smirk.

"You're something else, you know that?"

"I yam what I yam," I answered simply.

"Did you just fucking quote Popeye?"

"Yep," I nodded.

"Okay, Popeye, what about you?"

"What about me?"

"What is it that you want aside from friends?"

"What every girl wants, I want the simple things. I want someone that would rather buy me a hot dog than a fancy dinner. Lay on a blanket looking at the different shapes of the clouds. Seeing the stars shine brightly. Dancing in the rain like a bunch of fools. Just the simple things, you know?"

"Simple is nice."

"I want a guy, who takes my hand when I'm not looking or steals a kiss. Someone that sees me completely, then I see myself. Who shouts to the world, I mean everything to him. It stupid, isn't it?"

"No, it's nice. I've never heard a girl talk the way you do. You see things differently than a lot of girls. It's kind of refreshing."

"Yeah, but that only happens in the movies. Real life we're always hoping to find that one person who can make us feel deeply."

We lay there for a few minutes when I said, "Are the rumors true?"

We looked at each other and he sighed, "No."

"None of the rumors are true. I've never been to jail. I have never robbed anyone. I've never committed any crimes whatsoever. As for the girls yes I have been with a few, but not a whole lot."

"So, you haven't had sex with most of the girls in school?"

He gave me a confused look, "When would I have time honestly?"

"So, how many is a few?"

"Honestly, three," he said truthfully.

I looked at him, a bit surprised, "Really?"
