"She was furious!" Lyn smiled victoriously.

"I thought she was going to explode!" Chris grinned happily as Levi opened her door and allowed everyone in.

Red had her face buried in her hands before collapsing on the couch. "I can't believe I acted like that in front of everyone." She whined.

"Oh come on, it wasn't that bad." Claire shrugged. "It could've been worse. You could have went all the way."

"Oh my god..."

Lyn smiled and leaned over to her girlfriend where she kissed her cheek softly. "Everything worked out well in the end. There's nothing to regret."

"I guess." Red mumbled.

Blue sat on one of the armchairs watching the group make their way into the living room. Minerva laid beside the chair, trying to stay close to her master. Claire and Chris knelt beside the coffee table facing Red and Lyn while Joe sat in the other armchair across from Blue. Red moved so she was seated normally and Lyn and Levi sat beside her with the latter closer to Blue.

"She won't be a problem." Joe explained. "She knows better than to cause you problems Red."

"I wish we could break that spell she has on you though. It's totally cheating." Claire muttered.

"What did you even see in that bitch anyway?" Chris scoffed.

Red shook her head. "I never saw anything in her. I never liked her in the first place."

"Then how did...?"

"Chris!" Claire interrupted. "That's none of our business."

"She took advantage of me." Red explained. "During the welcoming party last year for the new years. Blue didn't go, it's not her scene. Anyway... there was a thing with one of the older dudes wishing everyone luck. He lit up a nightshade candle for luck after warning all the vampires to leave."

"Then..." Levi paused.

"Adrelle saw me leave, and since I was in the Keepers she wanted to take advantage of me. She took the candle and followed me out. There wasn't much I could do."

"Isn't Nightshade poisonous to humans?" Levi questioned.

"They make them special. It's not only made with nightshade, but the nightshade in it gets vampires dizzy. Put it in alcohol and they actually get drunk. It basically makes vampires human." Joe explained. "But it also slows their brain function."

"It's basically a vampire narcotic." Blue offered with a shrug.

"There has to be something we can do to break the spell." Chris muttered.

"Really guys. It's okay." Red smiled.

"At least you're not linked. Then that would be a problem." Joe shrugged.

"Links can't be forced either. There has to be an actual connection for it to work." Blue explained.

"What about Coven Leaders?" Joe questioned.

"That's not a link." Lyn scoffed. "The master has a one sided bond with their fledglings. As they gain strength the bond weakens before breaking once they gain complete free will. Unless they want to keep being slaves."

"And Adrelle's not my master." Red stuck her tongue out in disgust.

Levi was deep in thought before she smiled brightly. "Well... you and Blue share a mind... so why not use that to our advantage?"

"Hmm?" Blue raised an eyebrow.

"If you share a mind, then can't you switch bodies?" Levi questioned.
