Chapter 17

Y/N's Birthday pt. 1
Louise's POV

Y/N's party was gonna be great. Joe took her out for kind of an early birthday dinner kind of thing.

Y/N's POV

"Doesn't this kind of seem like a date?" I ask

"It can be whatever you want it to be" Joe said winking jokingly, and I gave him a little shove to the side

"I'm wearing a dress. You're wearing a button down. It looks like we're having a fancy date night."

"It's for your party later!"

"Yeah but still" I giggle "... I hope we have a good date" I say with a sarcastic smile (lol)

Joe sighs... "Me too"

Louise's POV

While they're out. We set up some streamers and balloons all over the place. Y/N picked the food out herself before hand (she's very picky). So that was already prepared. But we were kind of glad because now at least there was no chance of disappointing her. And next was the grand theme of it all

Our karaoke stand.

We had an entire raised platform with a big screen behind it and a smaller one in front, both to show the words.

Y/N loved and was great at singing. It was her passion along side of YouTube. We decided to take that to the next level with her party.

When everything was set up, people arrived. We asked some friends to bring out the speakers and we played some music; waiting for Joe and Y/N to arrive.

"Hey where is Y/N by the way?" Dan brought up during a chat

Wouldn't he like to know... though it seems like a fair question. This is her party after all

"She's having an early dinner with Joe. We used that to get her out if the house in order to set up" I answered

"Oh.." He said. Mildly disappointed-?

Oh my goodness. This is really happening

"You like her don't you?" I blurt out

"Um what?" He asks very much startled

We talked more and more.  He was obviously upset about Joe but I didn't care to tell him they aren't dating or anything. I felt like that went without saying... And even if it didn't, he can hear it from her if he really cares.

Then he basically admitted it. Whether he meant to or not- it happened. Life is great.
At that moment Zoe recieved a text from Joe and we all gathered in front of the door.

They walked in, Joe's arm around her shoulder. Both looking at each other with smiles. Oh, Dan.
...This is gonna be a long night

Y/N's mouth drops out of shock when she sees everything around her
