Chapter 28
Y/N's POV
I woke up with Dan twirling my hair. We were laying face to face in his bed.
"Its morning and I'm actually awake" he says smiling
"I think I realized" I say glancing at his hand still prancing about in my hair.
He giggles. I love how cozy he looks, and it amazes me that I'm somehow the cause of his smile.
"What are you thinking about?" He says after a while of me looking into his eyes
"How much I love you" I respond as I nuzzle up to his chest. My mind starts to hit a mental snooze button and I can feel myself drifting away into a space of sleep and dreams. As I do, I hear these final words come from just above my head...
"Great minds think alike"

By half past two, Dan has an idea to go out to dinner with all our friends later.
I had texted Joe about Maddie- he didn't even know she existed until now. I'm not sure how many people he's told about her yet but, going out to help get my mind off things would help a lot.
"All our friends? Surrounding you and I?" I ask
"Yup. We don't have to tell anyone about us if you're not ready."
"I'd just feel guilty if I told everyone else behind Phil's back. I mean, we're already going behind his back enough now as it is" I admit
"I understand the feeling. We'll tell him some day- eventually"
"Yeah. Eventually" I nod and we get to contacting our mates about dinner plans
