Chapter 45

Y/N's POV

"Dan and Phil are dating" I quietly mouth out the words to Zoe who's listening to a Disney soundtrack

"HEY! I DID NOT CONSENT!" Dan shouts sitting off to the side of the bed
"Oh shush, Howell. It's a game!" I laugh

"Dan and Phil.. re.. something." Zoe, having never took her gaze off me, squints intensely at me and tries to make out the words. I go a little bit slower this time-

"Dan and Phil..."
"Yeah..."
"Are dating"
"Are dating?"
"YOU DID IT!"
"I KNEW PHAN WAS REAL!!" Zoe shouts taking off her headphones
"2022 CAME EARLY!"

"I hate you guys." Phil says facepalming. We all die laughing, even Maddie is slightly chuckling behind camera. She is definitely aware of how hardcore their audience is about their 'relationship'

That was the last round. But there was still a lot of filming to do. Sadly, Louise had to leave after the video for Joe's channel- so she wouldn't be in any of the other collaboration videos.

Next game was for my channel. We were playing pictionary, but before that- we took a short break.

Tanya and Jim showed up a little after our break started. I was just about to introduce Tanya to Maddie, but Mads wasn't in the living room. I was a bit confused but brushed it off. I was sure she was busy doing something or perhaps in the bathroom. Instead, Dan, Tanya, and I decided to head to the kitchen for a few snacks and it turns out we found Maddie doing that already... and Phil. Huh.

They seemed pretty into the conversation they were having, and I could see the way they were looking into each other's eyes. Then again, that is what you do in a conversation so why wasI being so weird about this? I felt like a Phan girl who's trying to prove their relationship...

Well- if Maddie was Dan

"Hey guys" I said walking into the kitchen and opening the fridge for some fruit while Tanya got the bowl that Maddie and Phil had taken out already. Of course Dan heads to the cabinet for some crisps but we all know we wanted them just as much as the fruit anyways.

"Oh right. Maddie, this is our friend Tanya" I say as Tanya pulls Maddie in for a hug.

"I'm so glad you're okay and I get to finally meet you! Y/N has said so much about you."

"You too. And of course I've also heard a lot about you, haha."

They seemed to get along fine. As I washed the fruit I turned my head slightly to look at Phil. He just seemed sort of... off?

I could tell something was going on in his mind, but I just put the fruit in the bowl and left the kitchen with Dan.

"Wow."

"What?" Dan asked, looking at me

"Nothing, I mean- I was just thinking... Do you think Phil and Maddie would ever... ya know-"

"Be criminals in a mass-murder?"

"No, Smartass." I said while he laughed "like...date?"

"Hahaha! That's hilarious. Then Phil would be dating your best friend, too!" He responded clearly amused.

That's when I remembered past conversations with Maddie, she doesn't like Phil that way. She's said it on multiple occasions.

"Yeah, you're right." I giggled back thinking about how ridiculous I was being

"I know you tend to ship anyone and everyone... but unlike Phil, I can tell when he likes someone. Something is definitely up with them- I felt it too. But it's nothing romantic" He reassured me.

"Thanks for your insight, Hobbit Hair"

"No problem, pup. Anything for you"

"Oh...

anything??"

"..."

"Answer the question Howell"

"Sure Lester, anything. What you gonna make me do now? Lay it on me- I accept the challenge" He responded, accepting defeat as if he knew what he had gotten himself into

"I was just messing with you,

OBVIOUSLY...

But at the very end of pictionary you have to draw a picture of us dating to reveal to our friends!"

"You're on, love"

And a few seconds later... we sat down and started the intro to the pictionary video
