Y/N's POV

"Hi Maddie..."

I spoke to the seemingly lifeless body laying on the hospital bed. She had a mask over her face and more I didn't wanna see

But I hadn't looked away.
Not yet.

I went over to the bed with Talya while the boys stayed in the back of the room observing. As, I said before- lifeless. And the thought of that killed me. The thought of possibly losing someone who I've considered not only a bff, but a sister in my life. Since 4. I have no idea what could possibly be going on in her real sister's brain. Especially after already losing Blake- the possibility of Maddie gone must be crushing her.

Because it was killing me.

I feel the tears start to fall watching Talya sweep the dark brown hair away from Maddie's face for her. So I turn away and run into the well-known feeling of Dan's arms

Phil's POV

My eyes glue to Maddie,  we were close, not super close, but she was still in my life since forever.

I look up to the girl's reaction. Y/N turns around slowly to face us, silently sobbing to herself before running into Dan, who was on my left. She fell into his arms for comfort. Where she felt safe, to someone she trusted.

And Dan held her close. He looked at her lovingly and kissed the top of her head. He didn't care I was there anymore. No one was. It's like the world stopped- like it was only them. And I swear I could see Dan start to tear up.

But he didn't even know Maddie
It must've just painted him to see Y/N that way?

They exited the room for a few minutes when I turned to Talya who hadn't moved an inch.

I walked over to her, realizing she didn't have anyone to run to like Y/N did.

After that day was over I headed back to the apartment... alone.

Just to clarify- yes, Blake is dead
Phil left alone
Also, Talya stayed a while longer
And you went home with Dan
