Chapter 48

A/N: LISTEN UP MOTHER FUCKERS. I GOT BORED WITH MY OWN WRITING. I NOW REALIZE THAT EVEN THOUGH YOU WANT THINGS TO BE PERFECT- SOMETIMES WE NEED MORE DRAMA SO HERE WE GOOOOOO

(I'm so bad at tense, it's supposed to be passed but I fuck up so deal with it. Ugh. I'll just have to edit it in my 30's one day.)

Phil's POV

Our lives had been so busy recently that no one had been talking about one of the busiest events we're a part of!

Vidcon!

It had been a month since our last collaboration at the Sugg/Lester household. It's not like we had been so busy NOBODY talked to each other- we still had fun here and there- but scheduling future callabs, preparing videos, editing, and packing takes a lot out of a person.

Dan and y/n were definitely still riding strong despite all of the work and I'm honest to Thor that I was incredibly happy for them. I think I had just about gotten used to it by now. Four months is long alright?! If I can't get my life together than that's my problem- not theirs.

And who would I have been to complain when I had a crush on- wait. No. Nope. Nevermind.

I could handle it.
I constantly thought to myself: "It's just a couple.. doing... couple stuff.... Oh my God. Have they hAD SEX YET?"

Dan's POV

no. no we haven't.

Phil's POV

Just kidding. It's none of my business. And the less I know, the better. Today was the day we were all leaving for the airport.

Dan, y/n, Zoe, and I were on the same plane. Alfie couldn't come this year because of a family thing
(A/N: DONT ASK! He just can't come ok?!) so I decided to sit with Zoe and give S/N (if you don't remember, that's 'ship name') their alone time.

Dan's POV

Once we got off the plane everyone got into the Uber that began taking us to the hotel. All of the featured creators were on the top floor which was convenient for two reasons. 1)Anyone else in the hotel didn't have to be question by security if they were trying to get by and 2) ... We got special access to THE ROOF!

When we got to the hotel, we checked our phones for the email with the list of rooms and people belonging to which sections. Our YouTube circle, Zoe, y/n, Joe, Caspar, Me, Phil, & Louise) were all the way down the hall.

Of course, we could pick who we were each rooming with. This lead to a bit of confusion to whether y/n and I were in a room together.

Y/N and Louise decided to go to the bathroom together while the rest of us tried to speed up the process outside.

"So, About rooms..." Phil began but he never finished. He just continued to look at me- actually they all did. Waiting for an answer.

For me to finish the sentence.

"Oh! Umm..." I started but then began to blush, "we're still keeping things private so I think the smarter thing would be to keep you and I in a room and then I guess Y/N and Zoe, Joe and Caspar, etc?" I asked Phil while I tried to pair people off.

"Okay. Well actually if we are doing this by best friends... It'd be me and Y/N, Zoe and Louise." Said Maddie. Oh! Did I forget to mention? Maddie was a big part of Y/N's channel. They weren't joint YouTubers at all but we begged Vidcon for Maddie to join us anyways.

We all went to our separate rooms and then got ready for the first day of Vidcon tomorrow

~time skip. 1st day~

Y/N's POV

My alarm started to sound and I turned it off quickly so I wouldn't have to hear the loud noise any longer. Maddie on the other hand was as still as a rock. I knew she wasn't great at waking up in the mornings so I jumped on her straight away. At this point in my history of knowing her- trying to do it gently would have just been a waste of time.

After our showers I put my hair into a ponytail with some hair up front sticking out. I decided to straighten it today (despite Dan's words). As for my clothes I but on my white, ripped jeans while simultaneously thanking God that my period was already over and done with this month. Next thing you know, I had my iconic silver bracelet, black shirt and a flannel rapped around my waist. When I opened our door, Dan was already outside of it, about to knock.

"Hey, gorgeous" He smiled and leaned down a bit to kiss me. I rested my forehead against his before Maddie came out of the bathroom with her makeup done.

"Excuse me, Mr. And Mrs. Cooties" she said while walking by us, "But I'm pretty sure everyone's waiting for us downstairs."

Thats when I checked my phone and saw a missed call from Zoe.

I sighed and kissed Dan one more time knowing I wouldn't be able to do it again for a while. Fans and all.

When we walked outside we saw a bunch of our friends and also people I had yet to meet. This included Joey Graceffa, Tyler Oakley, The brown fluffy hair on the head of someone I assumed to be Connor, and a girl with Black or dark brown hair.

Dan looked at Phil and it seemed Phil got angry. He started to walk toward the group. I couldn't tell if it was to talk or to keep an eye on something.

"What's going on?" I asked
"Let's just say, I think Phil is assuming the future."
"What does that mean?"
"Let's talk about it later..." Dan sounded nervous.

What was he hiding?

"Y/N! GIRL GET OVER HERE" During my state of confusion I didn't notice Tyler come up behind me with his arms open, waiting for a hug. I missed Tyler, he was a very familiar face.

"How have you been?" I asked while accepting his offer and squeezing him tight.

"I'm good! How about you, Queen?" He asked with the widest smile I had seen all day

I took out my phone and started recording. I knew Tyler was highly confused because he knew I didn't vlog but I had to catch his reaction on camera.

"Actually I got myself a boyfriend-"
"WHO?!" Tyler semi-shouted before covering his mouth. He was trying not to be too loud but that never worked for him. I would know. He's the best long distance friend I had.

Pointing the camera to his face I whispered, "Dan Howell"

We mingled for a while and I told him about how we hadn't told many people yet before I realized I had no idea where Dan even was.

.

"Honey, as much as I don't want to tell you to look to your left...

look to your left..."

There I saw - her. The dark haired woman, with her hands trailing Dan's chest as he grabbed them both.

"I'll handle the whore, go get your man." Tyler informed me while walking up and snatching her away quickly as she protested.

Then I saw Dan slowly look at me with a shocked and guilty look... before I started to run.

A/N: Remember ages ago when I said it was getting a bit hotter in the UK... WELP HOT WEATHER= VIDCON! I was planning it this whole time! (No I wasn't)

Also this chapter was long... I think I'm gonna make more long ones. This was nice and I got to describe more :)

It's 11:30 and I got no sleep last night so if there are typos- go tell someone who cares! (Aka me. I'm insecure.)
