Chapter 51

Dan's POV

"Is that some kind of threat?" I said not turning around although I did take my hand off of the doorknob

"No. God no. You idiot." He said

...

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean that." He said and I sighed. I knew how hard it was for him to put his protective side down for me. He trusts me, but he's not used to trusting someone with his little sister anymore and I didn't blame him for that.

I finally turned around and sat on my bed, "Am I really an idiot?" He didn't say anything. He was shocked by my change of tone so all he did was sit next to me. Silently encouraging me to continue

"What if I'm not good enough for her-"
"Hey." Phil said cutting me off in thought. "Look at me. Who knows you better than me?" He asked.

"Nobody."

"And I'm telling that you ARE good enough. Doesn't that say something? I mean, you're definitely better than the other jackasses she's known." He said reassuringly

"Although I don't know what anyone would find in you." He said in a joking manner

"HEY!" I yelled and hit him with a nearby pillow and that's when I gave my first genuine smile all night.

Phil let his gaurd down for the first time in forever for me

I knew it was for a reason. We were gonna be fine. We just had to figure this out.

~Meanwhile~

Thomas's POV (A/N: NEW POV AAAH)

Once I finally got y/n and Dodie to y/n's hotel room I told them to lay down on the bed. Y/N's bed to be exact.

"Thank God you guys have me, you would've been dead meat." I laughed

"You're tha best evrrr" y/n laughed back
"Thanks but you're not doing to hot right now, yourself. How about I order some Domino's so you can finally eat some food." I said and I wasn't expecting the response I got

"Nope. Fud makes me big. I'll just thrw it up laterm" she said

"Hey. You're gonna eat food right now and we're gonna talk about this later." I said in a serious tone

"Oh..." She seemed speachless so I decided to make sure she understood

"And don't you ever do this shit again." I said in a more serious tone. I rarely cursed. She looked sad which made my heart break but being her friend for a while has taught me you gotta be tough sometimes. I'll hug her when she's more sober.

As soon as I finished ordering food I heard someone come in-

"Thomas?"
"Maddie!" I screamed and hugged her.
"I'm shaking I can't believe we're finally meeting in person, haha!" Maddie yelled in excitement

"*gasp* new friend!" Dodie said with her arms held open. She wasn't as bad as y/n. Y/n was tired and her head hurt from consuming the drinks with no food in her system. But Dodie was just tipsy and a little wackier than usual.

After about five minutes of explaining Maddie got some water for Dodie and y/n to drink and sober them up a bit.

I was just glad I got help. What a great way to finally meet a friend

Y/N's POV

By the time I finally sobered up Dodie was asleep next to me on my bed. I told Thomas he could also spend the night as a thank you for helping me out.

Him and Dodie would sleep in my bed and Maddie and I would share hers.

"I can't believe you made me eat Pizza." I sighed as I looked at myself in the mirror. Analysing my figure

"Eating Pizza seems like the nicest of all punishments, y/n. In all seriousness, have you ever thrown up your food before?" Thomas asked

"A long long time ago. But trust me. I won't. It was just a horrible time in my life where guys made me feel like... like I wasn't skinny enough. That other women were... better... and me... I was just lucky they didn't drop me... for someone better. But I'm with Dan now, anyways. I'm okay." I reassured him.

"Dan. Someone who let a girl named Cat follow him around like a pet, coincidentally. Is that why this hurts so much?" He asked

And I felt myself become emotional again
I didn't answer
But I didn't have to
He just knew. That's what I loved about Thomas sometimes. When it hurt too much to talk, he was there for me anyways.

"You know Dan isn't him. Dan is a great guy. He's just going through an issue with fans right now. You know how viscous "the phandom" can be" He said

So I went to sleep. Knowing I'd be okay.

Thomas's POV

I made sure y/n was sound asleep next to Maddie before I went to go change into pyjamas. I put on a
t-shirt and sweatpants before brushing my teeth.

I heard someone in the hall so I decided to open the door and see what it was. That's when I saw Dan knocking for Phil to let him into their room. He must've gone out for something and left his keycard

He turned around and gave me a questioning look

"Oh um. I thought you were knocking on this door." I explained before realizing that's definitely not why he was confused.

"Dan... I'm gay, remember? It's fine. Y/n wasn't doing so well so me and Dodie stayed the night to help."

"*Ahem* right sorry. And what do you mean she wasn't doing well?" He asked. It's been a while since I heard his accent and tone of voice. I wish it wasn't furring a time like this, and rather a time when I could enjoy it and have a good conversation.

"Just. Emotionally." I sort of lied, "you messed her up a bit.

You know, Dan, I get why you didn't do anything. And I get that y/n was also a bit dramatic... But sometimes when you love someone, you have to do hard things. Like stop letting Cat walk all over you as if you were single just for fans. And by the way... if they don't support your perfectly good relationship, they aren't your fans. Just something to think about. You know how hard her past was. Don't make her future harder." I said trying to explain it all the best I could.

And then I shut the door and layed down beside Dodie.

"Nicely said, Thomas" I heard Maddie's voice in a whisper
"I try." I responded. And then we were all finally asleep. Hoping tomorrow would be better.
