Tyler's POV

People quickly set into action. A man in a medical uniform started CPR, while another pulled out the machine that shocks people, whatever that's called.

Commotion filled the office, and the woman who had checked Troye's pulse held me back.

"I have to see Troye," I yelled.

"You have to stay here," she answered.

I fought against her, but another worker came to hold me back.

Before I knew it, an ambulance was taking Troye to the hospital.

"Can I ride with him?" I asked.

"Of course."

On the way there, the EMT shared what had happened.

"Troye's heart stopped for 6 minutes," she explained.

"But now?"

"It's beating normally. He should be out of the hospital in a couple days.

"Good," I answered, grabbing Troye's hand as what she said sank in.

Troye had died.

At the hospital, Troye was whisked off to surgery. Hours later, he sat on his hospital bed, unconscious but healthy.

"I love you, Troye," I whispered.

A knock on the door startled me. "We came as soon as we could," a girl's voice said.

"Zoe?" I asked, shocked. "Why are you here?"

"One of my best friends are in the hospital. Why wouldn't I be here?"

Alfie walked in after her.

"But what about your honeymoon?"

"This seemed a bit more important."

I smiled and hugged her. "Thanks."

I small noise came from Troye's bed.

"Tilly?" his weak voice called out.

"I'm right here," I rushed to him. "I'm never leaving."

Troue's POV

I fell asleep quickly that night. I was exhausted and my painkillers didn't help that part. I had a broken rib from the CPR and a small concussion from hitting my head. I was able to go home tomorrow, though.

I jolted awake, pain shooting up my side. I slammed the Call button for a nurse and cried out slightly.

Tyler startled awake. "Troye!" He ran over grabbing my hand, and I saw tears in his eyes.

"Are you okay?" I asked, concerned.

"Yeah, just a bad dream," Tyler said quickly, wiping his eyes.

The nurse walked in. "What's wrong?"

"My rib," I said, biting my lip as another wave of pain shot through.

The nurse grabbed a needle, pulled up my shirt, and quickly gave me the painkillers.

"There," she said quietly. Relief spread through me and I felt my body relax.

"Thanks," I said.

She left and I turned to Tyler. "Do you want to talk about your dream?"

"No," he said, a hint of fear in his voice.

"Alright, goodnight."

I turned out the light and we went to bed.
