You brought me to a place I didn't belong
I gave you my heart yet you never returned
So I soar and rose higher than before
You took me away
I didn't understand why I went along
Everything I gave you was worth a lot
Yet you gave me so little
Or so I thought
You gave me a hope
A dream
A goal
An opportunity
To do something to change a life
You may have thought that you gave me nothing
When I gave you my heart
You gave me so much more
