tear filled eyes
look at you
as the sun sets
spreading around us
wind blowing my hair
as a crowd of faceless people gather
million thoughts through my head
not knowing how to register what you just said
you stare at me as if awaiting an answer
one i don't know how to give
yet our past comes and hits me hard
and makes me remember all of our times together
i now know my answer that awaited for
i look at you again
and the sun goes down completely
i walk closer to you
as tears fall down my cheeks
and a soft smile on my face
my answer slips out
one simple word
one word to disperse the crowd
one word to tell you
one simple word you hear
a simple word to you
