red for the blood flowing through our veins
orange for the fire blazing in my soul
yellow for the sun shining in the spirit
green for nature growing in our minds
blue for the water coursing through our world
purple for the hope spreading in our lives
the black and white to unite them
a rainbow of color is not always
a rainbow forever
a rainbow of color may not have always been color
but inside us all lies a rainbow
some past it
some going for it
some in it
but everyone has one
i have another version for the first part of the poem
Red for the reality surrounding us
Orange for the soul within us
Yellow for the mind always thinking
Green for the time well spent
Blue for the space that we sometimes need from others
Purple for the power that we all have
