when you make a new friend
you never expect them to leave
when you trust them
and they don't trust you
you don't expect them to betray you
don't expect them to laugh when their friend is rude to you
would you know from the start that your friendship fads
that it fades due to them turning away no matter how hard you fight
why did they not understand you need a friend
that you are alone without them
when you feel lonely who will you turn to
never them again after their betrayal
once a friend leaves
a hole made in your heart
and memories are jarred
once you make a friend
you don't expect them to leave
once you make a new friend
all of that changes
