buck's travels

in the beggining i was different

different than i am now

i was neither a house dog nor a kennle dog

i ruled my own world

but as time goes by, as did i

my loyalty to other still stands strong

i watch others fight without caring at all

even others similar to me say i'm the strongest

through my pain i become a leader

i understand now

why we must not become attached

when i realized that all it does is break your bonds

when i lost the best master and friend i had

my world came to a halt

i do what i knew was not right

i lashed out at those killers and i came to my senses

a dog like me so strong

is meant to protect

not one human but doezens like me

i am a legend

i changed from not knowing who i was

not a house dog nor kennel dog

but now i know who i am,i am a leader and a protector

all because i heard The Call Of The Wild
