you flicker and dance in the evening wind
you sing and shine all through the night
a never dying flame
a sign of peace and hope
the flame that doesn't kill
yet demolishes the rest
lighting up the night
inspiring the children to have hope
a wild beast finally tamed
never to be extinguished
a flame that answers to it's name
you whisper secrets to all who hear
you show stories to all who see
you can make the ones who can't do either understand
you make a doubter believe
a flame always dancing
a flame always calling out
you sing a new tune
you flicker in the night wind
the kids hoping for a miracle to happen
inspiration o the ones outside showing they care
your kids making miracles and healing and raising spirits
you are the eternal flame
