when day time ends
and light fades
a darkness follows
a shadows looms above
the time of running around is ending
while the time of sleep is approaching
darkness is my escape
to listen to the comforting sounds
when day time ends
and nighttime arrives
i hold on and wait
slowly dark clouds fill the air
night is escape of life
day is when i pretend
when they run together
i pretend to be both
when day time ends
and light fades out
a darkness follows
and leaves a shadow above
that is when night time begins
