broken and shattered
yet beautiful all the same
destroyed almost beyond repair
but still holding on
ripped apart hearts
and still it beats
can't understand
but still trying
lost and confused
but never abandoned
hurt and losing control
yet healing and gaining a grip
when all seems lost
finding a light to guide
falling and dying
and still smiling as the sun goes down
