white wings

The sky above the clouds

the world we all forgot

the city between land and sky

home of the white winged bird

does the bird not feel forlorn

betwee the sky and earth

white wings untouched by stars

as the bird glides

a bird without it's shadow

a shadow wihout it's form

lost in the world that was forgotten

trapped between the land and sky

the white winged bird

not stained by the blue of the sea

soaring along the horizon

as the bird floats untouched

a chill breeze ruffles it's feathers

storms never reaching the birds distance

the bird that wants to be free

the white winged bird that chose freedom

the sky above the clouds filled with color

the world we once forgot now remembered

the city between land and sky still never touches white wings

home of the white winged bird
