a girl walked through a land
a land she thought only for dreams
she met the best of friends
a funny cat
a pair of twins
a man who wore hats
a rabbit not good with time
she had adventures
she had a queen chase her down
as she grew
the more she did
all she had to do was go through the door
but one day her time had come
she had to leave and not come back
but her story lived
the adventure never ended
the daughter came to join
but she could never replace
so each night at the time the girl left
the friends gather around a small door
and whisper
"goodbye Alice it was fun"
