We fought for our freedom
and yet we treat people with vulgor
we wanted our stars to shine
and our strips to shine
we wanted freedom
but at what cost
we fought to be free
yet we treated people as slaves
while history is only put in books
aren't we all the same inside
all want freedom,want equaility
our lives aren't just one color but all
we fought for freedom ,our freedom
and yet we disrepect our lives
as rates of early deaths rise
people don't really do much
they say to stand up for what is believed
but then they shame us for it
we wanted freedom
freedom at what cost
one life lost from a brave soul
to start the rest of the war
a war for freedom
we fought for our freedom
but at what cost
