she loves him more than he'll know
but doesn't have the courage to tell
she thinks he deserves better
and can't find how to tell him
the world she made with him hid away
they've been friends since they were kids
and she loved him
but he would never love her
she told everyone they were like sibilings
cause they were close but only friends
she can't find the courage to tell he truth
scared to lose her only friend
knowing he deserves far better than her
she smiles at him and glances at her
everyday the farther they grow
he told her he can never think of her that way
so she keeps silent not wanting to hurt
but her heart still wants him
she loves him so much
and yet he could never love her
because the two of them
would only ever be friends
and knowing this she still longs
he still grows farther away
and ignores every call and text
she loves him still
he laughs as rude jokes about her
as if he doesn't want her around
but still her heart aches
he ignores her and seems cold when around
acts like doesn't want the friendship
but whem she asks him if they
are still okay he says
of course
and even with his blowing her off
she still loves him
and even if he never loves her
she will always love him
