not knowing how much your words hurt
deep inside i know they are true
but you don't need to use that tone
knowing you never cared for me
seeing you look at them
knowing you like them more
hoping one day you'll understand my pain
feeling you let go of what we had
you let our friendship grow cold
you think it hasn't changed
and that makes it worse
you don't answer e and leave me alone
not knowing or listening to my words
laughing as if their a joke
watching you walk away i know what to do
i smile not because you are gone but because the times we had together
because i didn't fight harder
because i let you go in a way
i lost you
