An: the town is fictional. Telling you ahead of time.

"Passports?" The gruff voice of the Border Patrol rumbled, pulling down his shades as his partner checked out plates. His accent for French was pretty amazing for a full-blooded Italian man. My dorm roommate revved the engine in as I pulled them from my bag. "Here." I said as I handed over our paperwork.

A couple feet.

We were only a couple feet from crossing over into Italy.

The officer grumbled softly before turning to his partner. "Esegue il controllo." He barked rapidly, signaling for the two of us to be let through. "We're doing it Levi!" I cheered. The raven haired man I lived for, but for some reason couldn't take a hint, just rolled his eyes as I stuck my tongue out. "Calm down, Brat, we're not there yet."

But we were!

So far but yet so close and we'd be travelling to a small village that Levi promised held the best spots to paint, since my major was Arts. I believe it's name was... "Where are we going again?" I asked Levi as he rose the band of his goggles up to cover his eyes.

"You forgot already?" He asked, not even a question as more of a sigh. I laughed gently. "Maaaybe." His eyes rolled for the 163rd time today. And trust me. I've counted. Had to count something when it was your turn to ride in the cab. "It's Bellezza Persa." He said, grabbing the map to point it out to me. "Bell Lisa what-a-what?" Levi scrunched his nose up before glaring daggers at me.

"Bell-LEH-zuh Pear-SAH." He huffed irritably, over exaggerating the pronunciation as if I was five. "Oooh. That makes better sense!" I giggled as he just sighed, moving his gaze to watch the road as we finally got back to riding.

"So what's it mean?" I asked as we passed a small roadside motel. We were about a good thirty miles away from our destination if I could tell anything by Levi's continuous sighing. "What does what mean brat?"

"Bellezza Persa. What does it mean?" My roommate grumbled a little but seemed to brighten up at my interest. He didn't become fluent in Italian for nothing. "Lost Beauty." He hummed, a smile appearing on his lips for maybe a second before turning back into a frown. "Quit staring at me and let me watch the road you idiot!" I flushed and turned back to see nothing but empty road. This sucked. It was empty, even with its long stretch of cement. "Does the map say of any places to crash if we can't make it before night fall?"

"It's not fucking google Eren. Even if you could read it."

I couldn't help but snort.

"Yeah, yeah. 'Kay Captain I get it." Levi rolled his eyes for the 164th time today and I smiled. Maybe I could set a record. It was only 6 pm.

"We're here!" I whooped, Levi having switched with me as we turned off and headed for the shore line. It was a coastal village after all. "Yeah. Let me go back to sleep, I like you better when you're quiet."

I gasped.

"How could you Levi?!" I raised a hand dramatically to my brow as I moaned. "Oooh so cruel to moi. Woe is me~"

"Tch. Quiet before I kick you back into the French timezone." I stuck my tongue out but kept quiet. It was safer anyway. He'd crash if he tried to kick me as I rode the bike.

"So who are we staying with again?" I asked. Levi rolled his eyes for the 245th time today. Seriously. Record breaking stuff right here. "My mother..." I gasped. "You didn't tell me you were Ital-" He cut me off with a scowl. "Cause I'm not. She just moved here when I started going to college. Said it was so I couldn't run home if I fucked up."
