Let me just say.

Being sick...

Surprisingly doesn't suck.

I lifted myself up onto my elbows, my head groggy, heavy and my body numb. As my eyes adjust to the too bright lights of both the indoor and sunlight, my hearing is cut off for a minute or two. Finally, I can see again, my head hurting like a bitch, but I can't breathe through my nose. Its gross to describe but fuck you this is my story and I'm just gonna tell the facts.

My brains were dripping out of my nose and I'm pretty sure I was going to drown from all the snot and muscus coming out of it. My lungs felt like I was breathing in water, and my head had a migraine that would make Tyler Joseph proud. Looking around the room, I glared at the open window and blocked the sun from blinding me more than these stupid artificial lights already did.

An annoying as fuck heart rate thing lied beside me, the finger shit clipped on and making me think they were trying to cut off circulation there on my left hand's pointer. As I looked about the room, blinking slowly as I adjusted, a short man with raven dark hair walked in and I felt an angel or a demon just walked in....

And I didn't like him at all.

Well Lucifer was ounce an angel so...

"Ah, so that brat finally wakes up?" He teased, grey eyes watching me with a small glint as he moved forward, taking that clipboard thing off the end and pulling out a pen.

He clicked it gently and started writing, the sound of its tip on the paper irritating the migraine in my head.

"Could you fucking not?" I blurted out, hands making quick to cover my ears and rub my temples.

The raven stopped his scrawling to look at me with a pointed look. And what seemed to be a look of amusement in those steel grey eyes. His pen started moving again, eyes looking down quickly but a smirk covering his lips as he spoke.

"I need to write down your vitals for Doctor Zoe. They require these to help you get better."

I rolled my eyes, the migraine in my head getting worse even with his soothing voice. I think it was because his blasted voice. It was deep and warm, something you could imagine falling asleep to. So damn perfect. It didn't go with his rough, sharp look with those dazzling grey eyes and smirk-y expression.

"Fight me."

The pen stalled again.

"Pardon me?" The raven asked, voice not at all seeming to give a trace of offense or shock as he looked up, and smilied at me.

I wanted to punch him.

"Fight me."

Somthing funny must have come to mind or he had inhaled laughing gas on the way up to my room because the pint-sized midget chuckled at me. I glared at him, the blankets atop me seeming to swallow me up as I did. I growled and tried again.

"Fight me!"

Another soft laugh and before I could register what was happening, he had walked forward to untangle me from the blankets, fluff my pillow, fill the water at my bedside, and brush the hair off my damp forhead. Next he, as he continued to smile, asked me if I was hungry.
