Confession (Ereri)

"I like you! You... I like you, you idiot!"

~Before hand~

"Hey Levi-Heichou!" A tall but cheerful teen chirped, setting down his Captain's tea he had made for him. It had becomes Eren's job to brew and deliver the Corporal's tea and hope he didn't fail or a punishment when ensue...

"Hello Eren," Levi mumbled with a subtle nod, not bothering to look from his paperwork as he took the mug. He drank quietly and stopped. Setting his cup done, he rose a thin eyebrow at the teen shifter who still stood before him. "What are you still doing here loitering around Jaeger?"

"I- I just wanted to see if you needed help..." Stammered the boy, tripping over his words and losing his confidence. And he had gotten so comfortable around the captain as well...

"Thank you. But I'm fine. Go have fun with your friends now before I make you clean or something." The Captain said with a smirk, his grey eyes shining a little as Eren relaxed enough to let out a dry laugh. "I didn't know the Heichou could joke~" He teased. Back again was his confidence. The two had grown close after having lived in the castle together for so long. Even after what had happened in the court they had agreed it had been for the better and for Eren's safety. Not that he didn't still fear Levi's boot to his face if the superior was to find a fault in his cleaning...

"Kay then- Bye Levi!" Eren said with a smile as he rushed out of the raven's office. That brat was too adorable for his own good. He set his paperwork, which had been done for some time, down. Shoving his palms to his eyes, Levi leaned back in chair. Took a deep breath.

And fucking squealed.

And I legit mean.

Fucking squealed.

"Dhsiabsjskewksn-"

Yeah. It's bad.

Now let's get so backstory shall we?

Many a week ago the Corporal of the Survey Corps had noticed something. A very strange something. He never really thought of it much and brushed it off as meaningless. Him and Eren had grown close so it wasn't usual to spot the young boy curled up atop Levi, snuggling into his stomach like a lost puppy or holding his waist and doing the same thing but on his knees. Yes, many had teased or suggested of more but never did Levi take it as that.

Nor did Eren to his distraught.

See, he had been doing so as a sort of reward system for the teen. If he cleaned well or completed a mission, he got to snuggle against the stoic Captain.

Levi had been taught from a young age that a person's organs gave off so much warmth, they were comforting to be near. So that's how he trained is young cadet to do well.

With a reward.

Hanji once teased that he was spoiling Eren, but Levi scoffed at the mere thought. Spoil? If Eren was spoiled then Levi was a brat. His mother hadn't raised him to act like such a gentleman by telling him to do so...

"On the Walls! Why is he so- AH!" Spinning in his chair, he stood up with a large smile. One that everyone had yet to see. Even Levi was shocked at his change in tune. He had started sleeping better as the thoughts of the wild eyed shifter filled his dreams and his smile invaded his days. One could say... The Corporal was in love.

But God forgive anyone who told him so.

He'd never admit it.

Humming to himself, Levi grabbed his cup of tea and took a long sip. The brat's gotten better at this... He thought with a soft hum in his heart. He drifted across the room in a cheerful daze and drank the last tea. Setting it atop his bedside drawer, he took of his boots and decided to rest for a spell. A nap couldn't hurt right? He deserved one after all his hard work.
