Levi took a drag of his joint and sighed.

He hated school.

And it hadn't even started yet.

He really just wanted to see his boyfriend.

Not that his friends needed to know he had one.

"Yo babe stop hogging the Mary Jane man." Farlan said, tugging the beanie he wore farther down on his head as Isabel nodded. "Yeah big bro I want a hit." The red head pouted playfully, wrapping her arm around Levi's shoulder as he rubbed her head against his like a cat. Levi rolled his eyes and patted her head.

"Tch, fine I just needed a small smoke any way. I don't need my record getting tainted so soon after getting honour roll." He said, adjusting his glasses as he handed Isabel the joint, dragging a hand through his dark undercut nervously.

"Yo Levs." Farlan started slowly as he hunched forward from where he sat atop the bathroom sink, Isabel taking a deep drag as she sat down on the floor criss cross. What is it now? Can't you just leave before you say something that- "Do you know that Jaeger kid?" Fuck. I just wanted to talk to my boyfriend and you're ruining any chance of a peaceful morning with him. Not that they're usually peaceful... Or that I like peaceful.

"Jaeger? That shitty brat?" Levi asked, pulling out 'special' hall pass his buddy Erwin had made him, putting it back quickly. "Yeah." Farlan hummed.

"Well what about him?" Levi huffed as he moved to check his eyes. He may be a stoner but he didn't want to look like one.

"I saw him watching you during lunch." Levi raised an eyebrow. "That's..."

"Weird right? Total creeper, man" Isabel hummed, passing the now small joint to the blonde beside her. "Yeah Levs babe, I'd keep an eye out for him. Heard his mum off and disappearered a month ago." Farlan whispered, taking a long drag. "Yeah..." Levi mumbled, starting to fidget with his book bag. His gaze flickered to the stall near them then back to Farlan. "I don't think that's any of our biz Farl."

"But it's strange. And then he stopped talking. He used to be really popular too."

"He still is isn't he?"

"Yeah," Farlan said, dropping down from the counter, shrugging as he wrapped his arm around Levi's waist. "But he's kinda...faded. I head his sister has even started to drift from him. Said he disappeared in the night and came back all bloodied up just a week ago." Levi pushed away his friend's touch and sighed. They clearly didn't understand what was going on with the other boy...

"Farlan, Isabel. It's not our business. Now head to class. I can afford to be late." Farlan rolled his eyes, running the bud under the faucet before grabbing his bag. "Ya sure Levs?" The raven chuckled, but a small hint of nervousness creeping into his usual carefree lilt. "Professor Pixis loves me remember?" Isabel laughed, punching his shoulder lightly as Farlan tossed the joint.

"See ya big bro. You're still coming to spend the night right?" She asked quickly as Farlan grabbed her hand.

"Yeah."

"Yay we'll see ya Friday!"

As his friends left, Levi allowed himself to breathe. Turning to the sink, Levi stared down his own tired eyes and felt his body shiver slightly as he heard the stall door open behind him.
