One month.

One month of having to deal.

Having to deal with Shitty Glasses and Thicc Brows harping on my ass about my being...

Pregnant.

I let my fucking ward fuck me into oblivion, which I learned soon after was during his rut, and in turn activated my heat early.

"Look at your wittle tummy!" Hanji cooed, swishing her tail back and forth as she lied on the bed with me, both hands cupping my now round-ish stomach. She was practically lying atop my tail but I was used to it. Before I met Eren it was just Hanji, Erwin, my sister; Mikasa, and I. And even then, mermen and maids have always been a affectionate and pyschical species. That's why most of us took dolphins as pets. Not the antisocial octopi like my, I guess you could say, now boyfriend.

"Mate." Eren growled, slithering atop the bed and dragging Hanji off by her tail, earning a ear peircing shriek from the crazed scientist wannabe. After knocking her off the bed, Eren crawled atop me, his tentacles every which way before snuggling atop me, his tentacles cradling my stomach like an upside down nest, protecting it from harm. "My mate." He continued, possesively hissing as Hanji peeked over the edge of the bed from where she lied on the floor.

"Alright alright, I get it Mr. Grumpy Gills."

"Hanji he doesn't have gills." I said, dragging my fingers through my mate's brown hair, earning small purrs that left my heart fluttering. He was so cute. It was ridiculous that all this could make me a moaning mess in seconds.

"Yes he does!" She exclaimed. Furrowing her eyebrows, she swam into an upward position and readjusted her goggles. "He also has three hearts, an ink system, can camouflage, squeeze through or into tight places-"

"Isn't that right..." I muttered under my breath, Eren giving a series of giggling noises.

"He's suppose to have a beak between all his arms-"

"He only has two." I interrupted as I gestured to the two wrapped around my neck as he kissed my collarbone.

"Tentacles are the name they're mistakenly called by." Hanji said, waving a hand dismissively as I went to speak again. "And he's suppose to have gone into senescent by now after mating. Maybe it's because he's an octoman and not a full octopus."

"Senes- what now?" Erwin asked as he swam into my room. Agh. We're just gonna have a party in here huh? Where's Mikasa she should be showing up right about now.

"Senescent!" Hanji said, eyes wide in excitement that someone actually cares. I don't. Unless he's gonna die it shouldn't mat- "After mating, and octupus' mating arm breaks off inside their mate's mantle and they biologically age faster and die!" My eyes widen.

"The hell Four Eyes?!?" I look to Eren, snuggling into my side, and back up to her. "He's not gonna die is he!?" She shook her head, laughing to herself.

"Nope!" She clapped her hands together, eyes shut as she continued. "He's fine! It's actually quite fascinating. Also- where is his mating arm? If I may ask-"

"You may not." I interrupted, trying my best to hide my blush as Eren tweeted in amusement. I brushed a fist agaisnt his jaw softly and ruffled his hair before burying my face into the top of his head.
