---{Shorter? Octoman! Eren X Merman! Levi}---

"Why! Why Hanji!?" Levi shouted at Hanji as Eren sat in the small tank next to the crazy scientist's seabed. He swished a tentacle agaisnt the glass, purring as he watched the raven haired man.

"I just wanted to see if octomen were the same as mermen in heat!!!" She exclaimed, eyes wide beneath her glasses. Her orange tail flicked her back as Levi swam forward. Eren chirped in amusement. We're they playing?

"This is unexceptable!" He growled, pushing her against the wall of her room. "Unex-fucking-ceptable, Shit Glasses." He moved backwards , dragging a hand through his hair and swam over to Eren's tank, slowly taking out the smaller sea creature. Eren's eyes grew wide but he didn't squirm. The merman seemed nice, even if he was a little scary.

"How so?"

"The octomen may be less fortunate as the merman species- they may even be considered less then them- but they are still people!" Levi snapped, carrying the brown haired boy to the bed before setting him down to check him. Eren wiggled his tentacles, glad to be out of the cramped tank. He stretched his shoulders as well and felt the muslces pop slightly.

"He's fiiiiiiiinnnneeee." She said dismissively, waving a hand and swimming up beside her friend. Levi huffed and gripped Eren's face in his right hand.

"Can you speak?" He asked, eyes narrowed at the smaller.

Eren tilted his head as his eyebrows furrowed. He didn't know what he was saying. But his voice sounded so warm. The octo purred and nuzzled his head against the merman's hand. Hanji let out a squeal, bright liquid escaping her nose and floating through the water, making Levi retract away.

"I'm taking him home."

"What!?" Hanji watched as Levi lifted the green eyed boy up into his arms, his black tail curling out him for support before he finally gained a good hold on him.

"You heard me shit for brains. I'm taking him home and I'm gonna take care of him." Eren gave a cheerful noise at that, chirping in delight. He could sense something was happening that the one with glasses didn't like. He didn't like her to begin with. He kept touching his tentacles when he didn't want her to.

Hanji went to speak but was cut off by a harsh glare from the grey eyes merman. Pouting, she swam off to the broken desk that sat in the corner of her room. Opening a drawer and pulling out some things, she swam back and handed them to Levi.

"Here's all my notes on octomen and such. Hope you know what you're getting yourself into." She sighed, knowing there was no way to change his mind.

"No more kidnapping sea creatures Hanj." He chastised. Hanji pouted again but nodded. "Take care Shitty Glasses."

"Aye sir, Captain Fish Bait." She replied, smirk in place. Levi chuckled, causing Eren to purr once more, and swam off with Octoboy in hand.

"Eren!"

Eren's eyes widened and he swam up to the chandelier that was still hanging in Levi's wrecked ship he lived in. Bringing his tentacles closer to his body, Eren blended into the wood and waited for Levi to enter the room.

"Fucking brat! Why'd you break my sand dollars!?"

Eren gave a giggly tweeting noises but kept still as Levi bent down to clean the mess Eren had made, taking the broken sand dollar pieces to the 'window' and throwing them out to float to the sea floor.
