Hinata x Reader

Request by the oh so famous @CrowOrSo who gave me at least half of the request so in this whole book and I am supermodel duper grateful!

Yeah, but sorry if this isn't what you wanted. I did the request you wanted but kind of changed it along the writing process....

You held the wooden practice katana in one hand while the playful samurai in front of you did the same. But you we're left handed so the katanas seem to Be matching eachother on one side. The battle looked lopsided due to this. Hinata's liege, Takumi, was watching the to make sure his retainer was in tip top shape. You could tell he just wanted to surpass his brother, the high prince Ryoma. He would not yield the internal contest he made up of having the best retainers. Both you and Hinata were heavily breathing and desperately trying to catch your breath.

"Wow, you're good (Your name)!"

"Thanks...I try!"

Heart praise form your crush made you blush. Ever since you joined the army the eternally striving samurai who also had a playful side caught your eye and would not let it go. He held your heart captive and would not yeild it, even with your best attempts.

"But you seem to Be going easy on me."

"Eh?"

Takumi raises an eyebrow as you slightly relax yourself, but it coudl be a trap so you still clutch your practice katana in your left hand.

"You seem to Be sweet on me, taking it easy. I've seen you before, you're a killing machine!"

You blush again from the praise, but an inferno infiltrated your cheeks. He knew?! He said you were sweet on him, so he knew of your crush?! Oh crap...

"Oh, I...uh..."

He winked at you before charging at you again. Yep, a trap. You lift your sword to dodge his blows and take a strike at him but are blocked by his own wooden katana. He thrusts to try and get a good shot at your abdomen but you slide to the left. He tried the same technique and you slide to the right. Then you freeze (everybody clap your hands!) your legs as you try to get a slash at his bare shoulders. 

"Heh, not today!"

He tries to block it as hard as he coudl and you bith felt the vibrations of the sticks' collisions. While he was still recovering from the recoil you go for a swift jab in the center of his abs. He sees this just in time and ducks below it. (Want a visual? Imagine Indiana Jones or James Bond.)

"Darn it!"

You bith start laughing as he tries to go for yet another attack. Right in the center of his cleavage was his target. You couldn't tell if it was jsut a coincidence, a good strategy, or of he was jsut a pervert. You swing your wooden katana liek a bat and swat his stick out of his hands and you trip him by the ankles and point your sword at his nose. (Visual? Have you seen the Steven Universe see episode sworn to the sword? Connie does it during the song "do it for him")

You lightly tap the sword against his nose.

"Boop."

He smirks and you both burst out in laughter, Takumi shaking his head to refrain from having his own fit of laughter. He soon was clutching his stomach and you throw the wooden katana away and reach out you're hand towards your crush. He takes it and a blush creeps up your cheeks yet again.

 You pull him up but way to hard and he ends up landing on you, causing you bothering to laugh harder. Event the great prince Takumi couldn't contain his chuckles. You could feel the eyes of others intensely shipping you two together. Like Prince Corrin. He then lifts his hand up and touches your nose lightly.

"Boop."

You blush again and try to cover your face with your hands, but Hinata grabs them both and pins them down. He winks and you turn your head the other way.

"Awwww, come on! I thought you liked me (your name)!"

You knew by the tone of voice and the playful glimpse on his eye he was just joking. You felt Takumi's gaze and presence leave the area burn the watchful eye and shipping of Prince Corrin lingered. You did like him though...

"I do..."

He blinked.

"Wait, What?"

You shut him up and swallow your pride by pecking him on the lips for one second.

"I do."

He blinks again and you're face turns completely red. Your hands still under siege by Hinata, who was basically pinning you to the ground. And you knew that didn't mean anything. I mean, come on! This was Hinata. The same guy who got taken advantage over by pretty shopkeepers. No way he liked you, right?

Wrong.

His lips collided with yours for a long time, you could feel his texture. Like, really feel his lips on yours. They were sandpaperish but warm, most likely chapped from the long training sessions in the winds of the Astral Plane. 

It was conplete bliss.

That Takumi ruined.

Takumi was looking for Hinata becuase he was expecting him to follow but he was tired of waiting after a half hour so he went back and caught his retainer kissing another's soldier. Oboro was with Takumi, And she silently supported the two. Maybe one day she woudl have enough courage to confess her own crush on her liege....

But Takumi still ruined your moment with your new boyfriend.
