Modern AU

You open the door and collapse on the couch. Your partner for this at homemade project for high school AP science, Henry, closed the door and did the same. Both of you look at eachother, completely overlapping and in a mess on the couch and start laughing.

"Nyah ha! You look ridiculous (Your name)!"

"So do you!"

You both clam down and sit up. You grab your iPad (the one with the little attachable leynoard in the cover) and a laptop. You give Henry the laptop and you open your iPad, sitting back down.

"So what bird are we using again for the biology project?"

"Crows!"

You smakc your head, crows, of course. It's Henry. HE laughs at your stupid question.

"Nyah ha! So I do the muscles slide and you do the skeletal system inside the crow for now?"

"Yep. But don't forget to cite all your sources on the bibliography slide and get some diagrams. Want some music? I think I know a song that fits you well."

He looked to,you with his Brock eyes And signature smile. You did love Pokemon so you would constantly make joke about jelly doughnuts and drying pans because of his eyes. Seriously, you loved Henry. He's freaking awesome. But he didn't need to know that yet...

"Ooh! Let me guess, a song from Hamilton?"

You fake gasp and slam a hand on the center of your clevange dramatically.

"How did you know?!"

"Please, you're practically my girlfriend, (Your name)!"

You blush at the phrase an dhe just grins at you. You open the music app on your iPad and select the song you'll be back. The part of the mad King George lll would just be perfect for Henry. Also groffsauce. You couldn't help but sing along as you typed.

"You say the price of my love's not a price thst you're willigm to pay. You cry in your tea which you hurl in the sea when you see me go by. Why so sad?"

You even mad early a pouty lip to match the lyrics and Henry cackled quietly, pulling up a new page on the laptop to search up somethign in google. You continue with the song while clicking on a diagram of a crow skeleton and putting it over to the slides.

"Remember we made an arrangement when you went away. Now you're making me mad! Remember despite our estrangement I'm your man~"

You leaned over a bit towards Henry and catch him looking at the lyrics for the song. You both extange a smirk before you burst out in song singing together. You completely forgot about your project right then.

"You'll be back. Soon you'll see. You'll remember you belong to me. You'll be back, time will tell. You'll remember I have served you well. Oceans rise, empires fall~ We have seen eachother's through it all. And when push, comes to shove, I will send a fully armed battalion to remind you of my love!"

You both stop to catch your breath as you let groffsauce do the vocalization. Henry cackles as he hadn't read the rest of the lyrics. While the song is playing the part you don't need to sing he make a comment.

"Ooh! You're right! This is a me song!"

You blush and smile before pouring your heart out into my the next lyric, Henry does the same.

"You say our love I see draining and you can't go oooooooooooooon! You'll be the one complaining when I am goooooooooooone~"

You abruptly stand up and have the iPad fall over, really getting into your favorite Hamilton song.

"AND NO don't change the subject! 'Cause you're my favorite subject~"

Maybe you were a little TOO into Irma because you walked up to Henry seductively, Amost, and started to caress his cheek.

"My sweet, submissive subject."

He put his hand on your cheek as you sat down in his lap, the laptop falling onto the couch. He sing the next line, already having the song memorized.

"My loyal, Royal subject."

Okay, maybe this was the heat of the moment but Henry see,ed to be enjoying this just as much as you. You both began to sing the next part.

"Forever. And ever. And ever and ever and everrrrrr~"

You relucantly get up, causing He rynto have almost a pouty look and you it down next to him on the couch, grabbing his arm.

"You'll be back, like before. I will fight the fight and win the war. For your love, for your praise, and I'll  love you 'till my dying days!"

Henry stopped pouting and he began to sing along.

"When you're gone! I'll go mad. So don't throw away this thing we had! 'Cause when push, comes to shove."

You let Henry have the last lin before the vocalization which you never liked to sing.

"I'll kill your friends and family to remind you fo my love~"

You both wait in silence for the song to end before busting out on laughter yet again. You don't know how, but your head ended up on Henry's lap and his hand ended up on your cheek during the laughing fit.

"You're so right! I loved that song!"

"It was so  a you song!"

"Yep! Nyah ha!"

You sat up and faced Henry, calmed down completely. The music was off and the deceives somehow ended up on the floor in front of the couch. Henry started leaning in towards you....

Let's just say you didn't get anything school related done that night.

I'm sorry! But this was awesome and fun to write! I had the song playing over and over again while writing this! It's such a Henry song! Listen to it! Have some animatics!
