Hooray for requests! Another by @DoodleGhost
You were walking alone on the woods. You stormed off on anger after a rather large dispute with another Shepard that shall not be named. But you couldn't stay mad at Robin forever. He was just thinking in the grand scheme of things. But not even letting you near the battle field and putting Henry alone just made you fuming mad. All you did was break an arm a little while ago, but Lissa healed it good as new! You should have the right to be able to put your sword to use!
You sigh, sitting under a large, dead, foreboding tree. You lean against it and look at your left hand. That was the hand that connected to your once broken arm that was healed up. You made a fist and unraveled it multiple times. Nothing hurt. You just wanted to fight and help the Shepards. You wanted to be of use. That wasn't even your dominant hand!
You sign yet again, feeling it to happen naturally and out of your control, and close your eyes. It is a rather nice night. You just needed to cool down your stupid feminine emotions completely done by impulse and hormones.
Your knee is lifted up and you were sitting down in a fashion that most men do, then you feel something on your knee. You meet face to face with two tiny, black orbs and a bunch of black feathers. You knew who it was immediately. This was one of Henry's crows.
"Hey, Little buddy, what are you doing out here with me? Shouldn't you be with Henry?"
You scratched its tint head with your index finger, causing it to close its eyes on delight and let out a tiny pleased caw. You couldn't help but smile.
"You wouldn't Mind if I vent to you, no?"
The crow's eyes told you it didn't care and it didn't mind. You could almost speak to it. Almost. You tried to be able to communicated with the blackness birds to impress Henry. But to no avail so far.
"Robin, the tactition not the bird, has a strategy I just don't agree with. He's puttin g me on the sidelines and having Henry be all alone with nobody to watch his back! I know he's capable and I shouldn't worry but I do! I just can't help it. Dear gods if something happened to him I wouldn't know what to do!"
You didn't notice Henry, bidding behind the very tree you were leaning against. He was lookign for his crow and found you talking to it. You looked at the crow who had very pitying eyes towards you. You stroked its feathers and sighed again.
"He means a lot to me, even if I can't catch his eye."
The bird cawed and seemed to protest by you just look down at the ground. But then you see the crow fly away and you reach out for it, still sitting down. You look back down arm the ground, retrieving your arm and stood up. Your gaze never left the forest floor.
Until you felt somethign wrap around your waist. You gasp in fright and ready a fist in Caden it was an attacker. But you look over your shoulder to see the very dark mage who meant so much to you.
"Henry!? Wh-when did you get here?!"
He didn't have his normal smile, and his eyes were actually open, not their usual Brock state. (Cue the drying pan and jelly doughnuts.) You actually caught a glimpse of his chocolate abyss he kept hidden under his eyelids.
"Do you really think thst highly of me? Do you really think I'm not a mad man like the rest of the camp?"
He looked as if he wanted to cry. Henry, the optimistic yet kind of creepy dark mage who hung around crows and always had that beautiful laugh of his looked as though he was on the verge of tears. YOu tune you're body around and embrace him on that dark forest.
"Of course. I love you, Henry."
You felt a drop of water on your shoulder. He was about to sob and it made you want to sob. You couldn't bare to see him cry.
"(Your name)..."
He started to bawl and you gently get him down to the ground where you hold him and rock hm bakc and forth, your own tears evaporated out of your eyes as if they never were there. You rubbed circles on his back. You comforted him.
You hated to see him like this.
